Hello guys and maybe girls!

I Have a problem with a metallic noise from clutch or gearbox..

When the car is cold it sounds at it should be, but when i have drove it for a short while a metallic noise sounds, when i push the clutch down it stops but when i stand still with neutral gear and release the clutch it sounds a lot..

When i put a gear in it also sounds a lot but then it stops..

Anyone have a suggestion?

I have planed to change the transmission fluid and see if that work..

How much fluid do i need?

As I doubt that new transmission fluid will help, have you had it checked out by a competent BMW mechanic?

Yes i have, they didnt hear anything and didnt care, the car has only rolled 7500 miles and they say there is no problem.. Don´t know to do anymore

I wouldn't touch the tranny fluid. Take it to someplace else
