I have a e92 07 and I bought the 35w 6k from ddm. I installed it wth 2 4700uf 35v in parallel for each HID. At night when I turn on my fogs, I get no error messages and everything is fine but when I turn them on in the morning when it is a little bit cooler I get an error message but the fogs stay on. Also the error message comes and goes as I am driving. If the car is stop the error goes away, if the car is moving the error message comes on. Any ideas???

Has anyone tried this on a 2010 e90? I went to Radio Shack and bought the stuff, but haven't bought the hit kit yet. I'm debating on what to do. I like the look of the yellow lights on the alpine white sedan, which is what I have, but then again I like the blue look as well. Anyone help lol....

yes.
Most of the eBay kit are coming with "error cancellors" that are a pre-wired/connectered and PNP

Just noticed something today. my car was parked in front of a glass window and i can see the reflection of the front my car.
When starting the car, my fogs lights flicker like a police strobe for a second or two. I'm guessing that the capacitor is letting out some stored energy?

I can confirm that the 10000uF capacitors + DDMtuning 35W ballasts work fine with the 2010s. i swapped over the HID kit i had in my 07 to my 2010. aside from needing new bulbs ( H11 in the 2007, 9006 in the 2010) worked perfectly, no errors whatsoever.
just be careful with polarity, the wiring on my 2007 was switched vs the harness, the 2010 was correct. wiring the capacitor in reverse will cause it to blow in seconds.

I'm going to install the non slim HID DDM tuning kit this weekend. I will do so without capacitors. I have a feeling the non slim won't need capacitors. However if I notice anything funky, then I'll resort to a 10000uF capacitor.

Yeah I saw the 03-04 g35 in the background, I just sold my vortech'd 06 g35, for this 335. Crazy how with 3 mods the 335 is just as fast if not quicker than the G.

It flickers without me turning on the lights. Every time i turn on the car (not lights) it flickers. When I switch on the fogs....no flicker. Wierd but it doesn't bother me so no big deal...

GREAT mod.
Fog light should be yellow, as white light just gets reflected back off fog and rain, while yellow light actually penetrates it. I admit i'm not savvy enough to do my own wiring like that, but would love to have yellow HID fog lights.
