Great pick with the M-sport bumper Gary! It goes really well with the black kidney grills.

Nick, that is a sweet Truck! Now, all you need is a sweet phone like mine and you should be good to go man

It is a beautiful day for sure. I love how MN has a habit of teasing us with days like this, no doubt we'll have another foot of snow before spring

I know I'm the minority here , but I LOVE winter! I grew up 200 miles north of the cities on the Iron Range. Everything I did as a kid was outside in the snow...combine that with 16 months in Iraq, and now I HATE hot weather. I hope winter sticks around for a while, but like I said... I know I'm the minority there

I don't mind winter as long as it doesn't go to negative numbers. For me, I'd rather have the snow than the bitter cold.

What's up.. thanks for the welcome,.. haven't really logged in these past few days, work has been killing me lol!
anyways, im not really thinking of going into a lot of mods.. my car right now is basically "stock" with an 18" oem wheels. primarily, i just want to replace my wheels. i was thinking black rims w/ red lip would be nice since i have coral red for my interior. (BSME90 has awesome rims by the way) on my white car i always digged that look since back then.. and then of course just a little drop and replacing the chrome kidney grilles with black ones... i guess ill start there..
no major decisions yet as of now..

Man white on red 328xi coupe was my #1 choice for my wifes car. I love the white E92s. I have the black kidney grills in stock and check out this combo for wheels (even tho its E46)

haha, I'm the opposite, I like the sunny cold days and hate the sloppy slushy snow days!

Sounds good, the black grilles make a huge difference, I just got mine fitted last week with the m-tech bumper.

Maybe we should start throwing around some ideas and dates for a spring meet? It's almost March, and after such a nice weekend I can feel spring coming

I like your thinking! April 17th drive to to Stillwater, grab food, and drive back. I am not sure if there is a place in Stilwater where we can congregate.

April 17 should work for me. It's been a while since I've been out to Stillwater, but if memory serves, there is a large parking lot along by the waterfront next to the bridge. Hopefully we could line up there if there are enough available spaces. A scouting trip might be needed one of these nice weekends

Where would the start point be? Imola again maybe?

Also, is anyone interested in going to Cars & Cafe on the 3rd? I plan on going as long as the weather plays ball. Would be nice to have a "mini-meet" there

I think April 17th would work for me too. And hopefully by then I'll have the summer shoes on... and maybe some other goodies.

So I'm like right in front of my apartment and all of a sudden BAM! Lights on! lol

I pull over and he's like "ok, you know you have to have a plate on this car, right?" And I'm like yeah yeah, I know, I just, umm, yeah it came loose and I just took it off... I'm like ok, sorry, I'll take the ticket... So he comes back and is like, ok, here's another warning, now please put one on, and come show it to me and then we'll just call it good.

lol - so on with the front plate...

Nick
That's unfortunate man. I'm trying not to get used to seeing my car w/o a front plate as I know I'm going to have to fit it before I start to daily drive it again.

So are you going for a tow-hook mount or a permanent dealer fitted bracket?

I'm seriously considering moving closer to the city when my lease is up here anyway - EPPD knows my car all too well. I can't fault them for it I mean they're just doing their job and this cop is truly a good guy - he's given me two warnings since the new year. He was just straight up about it - "we know the car and we're going to notice if there are equipment issues with it..." FINE! I give up, Nick's 335 FTL, EPPD FTW. I will still wait 20 days of the 21 to put it on though

Nick
Ahhh, I should've known you weren't gonna drill

Why not do the tow hook plate? I will hate to admit it, but the off center look is growing on me.

Aw come on now, don't be lazy, it would only take a few secs to remove the tow hook plate. It's not like you wash your car every day

He does have a point though because every time I run my car through the wash, the license plate is bent. Also, it is not designed to be removed easily.

I was just giving him some crap for washing his car so much

Do you use touch or no-touch car washes? I mostly wash mine myself, but will use a no-touch from time to time, so hopefully that wouldn't result in a bent plate?

The audi guys meet before cars and coffee, its actually getting pretty ridiculous ... they compete to see who arrives first and gets prime spots. Some have known to show up at 430AM.

I hope you guys don't come to this!!!!
