After finals are over with, I'll try to make some clips of my own. I guess it would be after break in clips since I'll have roughly 1000 miles on the exhaust by then. Still very happy with it.

Yeah, its being dealt with. There still isn't a fix yet, but CP-E is working on it.

Exhaust issue has been officially 'Dealt With' on my car today. I just got my exhaust installed today and they re-measured everything for the coupes and figured out a cure-all solution for the exhaust. I spoke with Josh at great length today. I was up at the shop for about 7 hours today and he said he will contact the individuals with the coupes that had the short tips and will figure out how to get everything addressed for them individually. As for the problem for the next production run it will be fixed completely.

One other note Josh installed their first production run of their Tial BOV Kit on my car as well and it sounds pretty beast. Very well thought out design...but thats for another thread. I think they should be ready to ship out very soon. Anyways. I just figured i'd give you guys an update on the exhaust. So far mine is pretty sick sounding. Perfect purring BMW sound! Maybe i'll get around to some videos sometime next weekend.

But for now.. Cheers - Ryan

3,000 miles on my exhaust I love it today more than ever. I have recently decided to make friends with my sound system again, but do catch myself driving down GW Parkway with my radio off, left with only the sweet sounds of a perfectly crafted exhaust....Thanks again, CP-E

Is it still a touch too loud in the 2000 to 2500 range or has it settled down?

I guess with any aftermarket exhaust system there is going to be difference in sound, significant or not. But with the CP-E one, it's deep and throaty.

It's fully broken in now with 2000+ miles logged, and I absolutely love the sound of it...even at low rpms!! I find myself hopping in my car to just cruise around

Rest assured, if you get this system, you'll fall in love with it!! Although, the wife thinks I'm nuts

e90phan - sorry if I missed this (this threads getting pretty long) but how is the fitment on your e90? I know the fitment issues were with the e92, and it looks like the vendor has already addressed this (incredible stuff by the way), but I'm very close to ordering this exhaust, and I would like to know how the tailpipes fit in relation to stock. Are they pretty much the same....or what?

Thanks

Fitment is right on. Keep in mind they are adjustable to a certain point, I had them installed right about where the stock tips came out. But you def can get them sticking out a bit further if you preferred.

Thx bro...I think that about does it for me. I was going to go with a quad, but I love the sound of this exhaust, I like the looks (not super important, but good to have), and the price is right. I also love the fact that it's direct bolt on, so I can go back to stock when I get my M3.

This has been a great thread!

Ryan, thanks for the update. Do you have any pics of the exhaust showing the new length? Thanks.

I don't have any new pics just yet, however, I can take some this weekend whenever I get home with my camera. I can absolutely vouch for the exhaust growing in length about 1" or so when its warm. I will make a point to take some pictures this weekend. Should have them up on Friday.

Your pic is misleading, as the angle you took the photo from is clearly different between the two.

I guess I stand corrected from my earlier post.
