E92_William, HOA's can be evil little entities, my parents lived in a complex with one and actually ran it well for years before growing older. They clearly didn't give you sufficient notice and should carry insurance to provide a proper detailing of the car.

For stripes you are asking for and me providing vinyl I would quote you $450 shop price. So you can base your price around that. If you want to try yourself I would just get some knifeless tape and start with that so you can get your lines straight before even laying the vinyl. Relay the knife less as much as you need until you have a nice straight line you like, lay the vinyl and you are on your way. Material cost you are looking at 200, for that much material and another 10$ for knifeless, 3 dollars for a blade and 4$ for an adhesive pen for your edges.

Installed the new cupholder trim, the second one I've purchased since buying the car. Why do those plastic pins keep breaking? They are held with metal clips so I'm convinced that anything to do with cupholders are cursed.

Finished up some preventative cooling system and related upgrades on my 2007 328i N52 w/ 90k miles. Replaced the following:

- water pump
- oil pressure switch
- thermostat
- U-shaped hose b/w water pump and thermostat + fresh hose clamps (I probably could have re-used the old one)
- Mickey Mouse flange (replaced w/ FCP Euro metal version)
- OFHG (old one didn't leak too bad, though the gasket was flat upon removal)
- upper radiator hose (old one seemed fine, but replaced it for good measure)
- serpentine belt, tensioner, idler pulley (old belt looked OK to me, but it seemed like a good time to replace)
- radiator drain plug (I broke the original upon removal, so I replaced it w/ ECS' metal version)

Then filled coolant, ran factory bleeding procedure, and topped off more coolant.

Yeah, thinking I'm just gonna leave it the way it is. At this point I'd rather replace the run flats with better riding tires and put on a tow hitch. Thank you for all the info.

Replaced the LCD in the radio because it was fading when hot out. Wish I had done this sooner, what an improvement. The replacement procedure/screw layout on the newer professional radio is much different than the DIY guides on the CD73 Alpine model. This one didn't even have a heat sink and unfortunately still required some soldering.

McLovin1 and I went halves and picked this up yesterday for $1200. It's a 2007 328xi in Montego Blue. Its got 220k miles but is in excellent overall shape. Needs some TLC, common stuff like VCG and gear selector rod. For being a base auto xi though I'm in love. Keeping this one OEM+, and as cheap as possible

Finally got my old Work Brombachers cleaned up with new centre caps and powder coat of the inner barrels. Got some cheapish rubber on today, 235/35 and 275/30 Firehawks. I’ll clean her up better tonight but Igor now I need to make dinner lol

Mk3 Wireless charger. I managed to get a 3D printed in place of cubby hole then after lots of issues hard wired it up works great 😊 also changed steering wheel cover to silver ! Also gave it a full valet inside and out.

Drove it to pick some lemons. Pressure washed the engine bay. Do any of you guys do that? I didnt touch the alternator and went deep to hit the underbody pannels and the area where the trans and engine connects.

I've been thinking about it!

When I was in there recently, I noticed a ton of gunk on top of the subframe. And that was before I dumped a bunch of coolant everywhere.

When did you get the Z4? I thought you only had the two E90s. I like the wheels too, did they come on that or did you buy them for that car?

I never pressure wash my engine bay. I usually just cover the alternator with foil, then spray some engine degreaser on any obvious oil/grease spots then rinse off. Then spray a mild dilution of dawn dish liquid in a spray bottle and agitate any stubborn spots with a brush, and rinse off and dry with a leaf blower

i have 3 e90s and z4 now. actually 4 e90 because i got a broken 335i just last week. But i had these apex 17x9 on my 328i and decided to put it on this z4. Did all the maintence on the z4 and top engine gaskets. Just need oil pan and im set!

I installed new shocks tonight along with upper and lower mounts. I was expecting a 1 hour job but it took 3 hours because unlike the E90, the E93 requires a ton of trim pieces to be removed to access the upper mount. These were the original shocks from 07, bump stops were non-existent and the plastic bellow/boot was wedged inaide the metal cup.

Next up are struts, thrust arms, M3 wishbones, tie rods, and all new associated hardware/mounts. I forgot to order end links so I have to wait a few more days. I might have a bad wheel bearing up front too but it's hard to tell, it might just be tire noise from the worn thrust arm bushings wobbling.

Did you buy the wheels new? I'm looking for a set of new wheels but I'm very reluctant to out $1500 wheels on a 16 year old car. I've been looking at some used sets but I don't trust any sellers.

I actually got them when they were cheap from Apex. 17x9 was 1100!

Put together a 3 stage intake manifold and swapped it in, retrofitted the oil to coolant heat exchanger with the correct Y hose which fit perfectly, put in a metal Mickey Mouse flange and flushed out a good amount of the old coolant which didn’t look very blue anymore.
