Bragging about your "$50K" 3er is just too much, at least try to act like you've had some money before.

Danny
I was not bragging about my $50K car. I was simply telling you that $50,000 is not something I fool around with because I'm not rich enough to simply destory something of that worth. Maybe you are, but not me.

Danny it's been fun but I'm not going to respond to any of your posts attacking me anymore. Maybe you'll grow up and stop acting childish. Who knows. Stranger things have happened.

All in all I LOVE this new wheel. It really is great! The leather is super smooth, super soft, and smells like leather.

Here are some pictures:

Thickness difference from Sport wheel:

All ready to be mounted:

Completed:

My only complaint (See how it's sagging in a little--it does the same thing in the exact same spot on the other side. The good news is that you can't see it unless you stick your head behind the wheel looking at the driver's seat):

Heh, thanks man. Yeah, I really like it. Right after I finished installing it I went and took my car for a car wash to celebrate. I go to a DIY car wash that's open 24 hours and because the pressure washer handle is touched by all those mud lovin' 4x4 drivers I wore some Microfiber gloves once I got back in my car so I didn't get my dirty hands all over my brand new steering wheel.

Think I might frame my Sport wheel and put it on my wall. It will serve as a sentimental object from my first BMW.

Lolol... Ya you should definitely frame it...
I have to admit it looks stunning. And it probably matches up perfectly with the 5er knob.
I can't wait to install these things in my car and take a bunch of pics and post them...

What looks stunning? The new M-tech wheel you mean?

I'm surprised you haven't gotten yours yet. You live on the same side of the Atlantic Ocean as the guy who shipped it. I'm all the way across the Atlantic in Florida.

Hah. Yeah it's 5:24AM here now. Need sleep. Had to wake up early to accept delivery of the present I got my Dad for Christmas from FedEx Freight. He rang the doorbell, showed me to the truck and said OK, there it is, now how are you going to get it off the truck? I said, ummmm, that's your problem, right? Turns out it was my problem or he would have to charge me an additional $65 for helping (policy of FedEx's). I ended rising to the occasion and avoiding the $65 fee. At least the guy let me use his new MONSTER dolly. He told me he just bought it at Costco for $80. Good deal. That thing has 12" off-road tires on it.

youyou, when you get your wheel you should go to your local dealership and match it up on the Z4M wheel like I did to my Sport wheel and take pics. I would have done this except I didn't think of it before I installed it. Then we could really see the difference.

You have no idea. I keep my interior much cleaner than my exterior. And no food or drinks allowed in my car. The only exception is bottled water.

All the questions were to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong. I'm more cautious now than I was earlier in my life because years ago, on several accounts, I followed the directions, something wasn't working, I forced it and ended up breaking it. I know what directions say I just try to be careful.
