FUCKING idiotic drivers. I was backing out of the jewel parking spot, when at the same time another lady backs up across from my car. I notice her backing up and blow my horn(at this time I am about 20% out of my spot and so is she). She pauses for 2 seconds then proceeds to back up before I can throw it into 1st and inch forward. The side of her rav4 completely swiped my rear bumper and even causing a point of impact dent right in the middle!

So fucking pissed right now and its going to be hard to make it seem it was her fault over mine(as we were both backing out of the parking spots). I know we were both backing out so its probably both of our faults. The loss prevention parking lot worker reviewed the tapes, says its clearly her fault since I was stopped and the side of her car swiped my rear bumper. This is such as hassle.

Yea bet it'll be 1/2 fault each so you'll each cover yourselves. That sucks though. An aside, Idk if it's just me, or maybe I'm paying attention more, but drivers seem to be more and more negligent than when I learned to drive, just 6 years ago. Phones are a big part of it, but it's just generally driving while distracted IMO. Cars get safer, incentivizing unsafe behavior.
