We had a lot of pent up turnover from the last couple years and we were already understaffed from general cutbacks. So when companies started hiring this spring, we had a wave of folks quit because of being overworked from the understaffed, leaving us even more understaffed.

Then add on top of that, the partners continue to sell work and writing checks that we have to cash.

I am burned out, and if I try to push work down, my staff say they are burnt out. Several have told me they will quit if I asked any more of them.

It’s a bad situation and there really isn’t a solution other than to tell our clients to wait, and that’s not going to happen.

Ps: computer just crashed and lost 45 mins of work. Fml.

My work is the same way. Work is picking up in the field, meaning instead of 3 people in the office it's usually 2 or just me. Left to do more work with less people...my dad asked me if I had time to do some shit and I finally had to say "if you want me to move in I do" ... didn't really appreciate that but whatever.

Also no long weekend for me...plant shutdown...working everyday...fffuuuu
