yeah and the stock one does great anyways, have you tried to see how the car feels stock v afe?

no...imo I got the intake at a great price so I'm not complaining....I just think in general the intake is so far down the list of bang for your buck...especially at $1200+

mr 5. is a take off of the dinan. Basically keep the stock box with a high flow filter as its proven to be very efficient at stock power. Then drill a whole in the side for 3inch tubing and run a tube to the intake on the front bumper. So its a highbred of the stock box and the other cold air intakes.

yeah i did that for a little bit worked great and sounds like dci without having to go that route

I'm going to attach one of those new dyson fans to my engine block to force colder air into it. May even build that into the hood.

what parts you have. Most run pretty cheap from what I can tell. The biggest expense is the stock box (got it for $80) and the filter (Plan on using the filter from my dci).
