mines screaming to get off 1st gear after launching it with traction off ROFL! btw, i did a couple of a burn-outs before the race and ran against a twin turbo audi S4, like an old one and using the launch contro i hooked right after it launch. ya notice the exsessive spin using the LC? just a heads up to get a nice hook using LC(:

Totally agree with you here. As I was breaking in my is, I was amazed at how hard it pulled (trying not to keep the revs below 5K RPM during break in). Once fully broken in, when I redlined it, I was disappointed at the drop in power past 5.5K or 6K RPM.

Look at the dyno
Looks like on the dyno there is a drop and then a pop at the 6k end. You expect torque to go on forever? Maybe its because the mid band gives such a surge then drops off at the end. Based on this dyno, the 335is still has a higher torque band than the 335i.
Maybe getting software from Dinan or other will help. |

With respect to getting a Dinan tune, if you know anything about the current state of 335i/is tuning, you'd know that all of the current tunes from Dinan, Vishnu, GIAC, Cobb, etc. all drop power at the top end because the stock turbos are too small to produce the same wide band of torque and hp all the way to redline. And yes, I do expect sport coupes to produce usable, consistent power through as broad of an RPM range as possible. |

Here's a daylight photo that was taken on the meet we had in Louisiana a week ago. notice that you can't even see me and that it is completely BLACK. Yes yes i know about ILLEGAL but I have papers saying that I run my father's seafood industry and have to make many trips to the bank to deposite money so the tint is safe from letting strangers see who I am and where im going after i leave work. So please no argues about how dark it is, because what matter is that i like it and its my car, and it can prevent people to stalk me and gun me down, thank you. |

Recently I had friendly race with my buddy's IS-F.
exhaust is dominating by 335is but after 60mile he is gone. 1 week later, he(same guy) trade in his IS-F and got C63. I think EnjoixE92 << this guy should knows way better than I know about 335is vs c63 but... It was up-hill 1st race : 1st gear 20 roll = I was ahead until 80mile (1st gear he had some drift) 2nd race : 2st gear 20 roll = I am not even M3. |

Also the IS-F has doo doo torque. We can kill em off the line BUT the horse will make up for his torque. But its all about 1/4 not racing the states LOL!
