I assumed $450/mth was on a lease, you can't come close to that on a financing deal with 10k down.

i doubt hes gonna pull the trigger hes basically going on this because of he totaled his car on friday. Question your insurance company gives you a check for whatever amount your car is worth at the time but then dont you have to pay the rest of the money you owe on your car off?

It has to be a lease, sticker on the car is 40k+, 10k down gets to the 30+k. 30k divided by 36 is 833/month in principal alone (if you finaince) and still excludes interest and tax. No way is he financing a *new* 335i for 450/mth.

Quote:
1) Dude the the residual on a 24 month lease is way better than on a 36 month lease. 2) If you concerned about putting money down to lower your payments then take that 10Gs and put into a 5% money market account and from there pay the cost of your car. 3) First thing is ask your sales person what the residual is 4) Then ask what the money factor is 5) Then negotiate the price of your vehicle 6) You can find all this out on www.bimmerfest.com and go to the ask a dealer portion. Thats where you will find the money factors and residuals for that particular month. |
