The intro price is actually $1399, and the normal price will be $1599.

Here is my post from a few pages back to keep the info up to date on the current page-

Pricing on this system is finalized and is as follows-

We want to again reiterate that we wanted our pricing to be competitive with other systems while offering the highest quality product possible which is our reasoning for using hand assembled German engineered mufflers with tips, and pipes all made in the USA.

The kit includes the mufflers, and 1st and second section piping. (Everything but the downpipes). We also have optional high flow cats as well for those wanting to keep their secondary cat rather than have the delete which is standard with the system. The system Dyno'd at a 12whp and 9wtq gain over stock on a dyno dynamic with a steptronic test car with no other mods but the exhaust system. It also provided a weight savings of 23.5lbs from stock.

Please note, this pricing is for the E92 with standard tips as development is in progress for the quad tips and E90 version at the moment which we hope to have ready very soon as well.

Pricing:
Intro Pricing- $1399
Normal Pricing- $1599

We will NOT be taking orders or any form of deposits for any system until they are in our hands and ready to ship to you. You are more than welcome to add your name to the lists still as we have upped the initial production numbers of what we'll be offering initially and will even extend the intro price to more people than we had said initially due to the large response.

The exhaust sounds great (my favorite so far) and the price is more than fair considering the quality. However, I am not familiar with Autobahn Exotics. How is their reputation? Can anyone give impressions on their past experiences with their products?

Will the e90 be the same price as the e92?

Also, these prices would be awesome if shipping inside the US was included

I know good quality when I see it!!!

(......and of course it sounds the best, but that is subjective )
jpsimon,

"The disappointment with Poor Quality last long after the Joy of Low Price has worn off." Not even once have I felt like this with CP-E. It's happy happy joy joy every day!! People in their ricers and other bimmer owners catch up to me on my right and roll down their window just to listen to that racy exhaust note and to get a good look. And then they knot their heads in approval right before they make their right turn. From the bottom, it's just as impressive...stainless steel (and the good kind too) with mandrel bends at every turn. The pipes are polished to include laser edged company logo. Oh, and did I mention that I've been tuning cars since the late 80's? That's before the times of the terminology "ricer" and the days before "The Fast and the Furious." I wasn't born yesterday, so I know good quality when I see it. I hate cheap quality, especially when it's made in China. I think it's safe for you to give me a little more credit than to assume that I would put something of low caliber under my chassis just b/c the price was low? It's an intro offer and I got mine for $1200. That won't last and it'll go up to it's original $1900. BTW, the quote above in the first sentence refers to a scope on a sniper rifle. Never settle for second best just to save money...b/c there's a difference between a body shot from a head shot! In my line of work, I cannot afford to have a cheap mentality b/c you'll pay with your life. I live life with as much perfectionism as possible. I also know how Germans think and their standards on quality since I was born and raised there. Ask any CP-E owner if they dislike their exhaust. I even visited the CP-E facility b/c that's how strict I am when it comes to excellent quality, and the designers all have either a Masters in Electrical or Mechanical engineering degree. They are not just mechanics playing around with pipes. The most important part is the CP-E exhaust is made in the U.S.A. and I stand behind this product! Woorah! Check it out guys and maybe this will answer what comes with the price.

Dude this thread is about AE's exhaust, stop hijacking the thread with your CP-E enthusiasm, if you want to go on why not just open your own thread
