You need some software to open the torrent file. That file contains the info to connect to the torrent servers to pull down the file in question. You a Mac guy or Windows pansy?

Windows bit torrent client: http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

Mac bit torrent client (inherently safer of course): http://www.transmissionbt.com/

Edit: Download either, open the torrent file with one of the programs above and watch the download begin. This may be one of those things where if you don't know what you are doing, maybe you shouldn't be doing it.

My wife had never used one in her life but liked the looks of the Macbook and I was getting one. We ended up buying two, his and hers (yes we both sit on our laptops at the same time, without two of them fights ensue). She is now a hard core Mac person and always tells me how stupid Windows is at work and wants to know why it never "just works" like her Macbook at home.

Don't bash it until you have had one...Especially nice for anything artistic, such as music of photos.
