The problem i have is my front bumper already catches kerbs when parking so i'm sure if i start playing with cambers i wont have any clearance. The roads aren't as good over here. If you have any suggestions i'll have a look into them although i don't want to change my bumper or raise the car again

How are you catching curb? When does that happen? When you're parking head in? Or when you're entering a gas station or something? You don't seem that low. It sounds like you just need to get used to driving a lowered car. I can't really see from the picture but your wheels look sunk in, I think. That's why he said it's not aggressive, I think. |

I'm fro the UK and live in the countryside where it's all just narrow farm roads that aren't repaired very often. Have to park with two wheels on curbs in some places and it catches like made when pulling on to them. I'll measure the clearance on the bumper when I remember to

Nothing wrong with your car, it looks nice. But it's not stanced or aggressive so it doesn't belong in this thread. You're running 8.5" wheels all around when other cars being posted are running 11"s or 12"s. And you're dropped 25 and 35mm when some of these guys have maybe 35mm ground clearance. Plus your offsets don't look that aggressive.
In order to stance your car, you'd have to go a lot lower and get more aggressive offsets. If that's not practical for where you are, don't do it just to show off on the internet. FWIW, I love stanced cars and aggressive offsets, but I couldn't do it. Tried it, but the constant rubbing and scraping got old every day. It's frustrating to drive below the speed limit all the time and almost get your car stuck in parking garages. So I now just live vicariously through these threads and appreciate the work others put into it. Quote:

If I was still into car shows and such, I probably would have gone that route. As it was back in the day, I was always jealous of the air guys who'd air out for display while I was jacking the car up to lower the collars. Then having to raise the car so I could actually drive it home.

Ok guys, I have a quick question for ya. I have an X1, as I'm sure you know we share many suspension components. I lowered my car...alot...now I have too much camber in the rear. It's already been aligned to bring it as close to spec as possible. So the question: Will adjustable camber arms add additional positive camber than the OEM ones? Or are they mainly for when you need more negative camber? I'm basically using camber arms for the opposite reason you guys are lol

also stance makes certain things look better then they would on a raised/stock car.. I think you could run dark blue/Grey/matte silver tones/Brown/dark brown/polished/matte black/gloss black.and certain tones of purple. you could also play around with hardware colors to accentuate.

Couple -shitty- pics from summer. I have 275s, need to change to 255 or sth to lower it more. I wanna do 215/35 and 245/30 but I'm just not sure if it's a good idea. I do drive aggressive sometimes, taking corners etc., I don't wanna get myself in trouble
