It gets your heart rate up and starts the sweat... it's really hard to increase your heart rate when you are lifting.

10 min's of cardio before lifting will help prevent injury. Its a warm up. Its better than stretching. After a torn pec and torn bicep I learned my lesson

Also.. lifting weights does not burn fat either.. it burns sugars.

I would say my favorite workout is legs. Every notice all the guidos in the gym have these skinny legs. they remind me of female figure skaters LOL
