Crimson, get the painted passenger side only from UED and the middle and driver's side from a 328 (Order from a dealer). UED's are painted. The 328 ones are black plastic and should hold up better. They match fine, I have them on my car. If one starts chipping, at least it would only be the passenger (oil cooler) side.

i know the 328 has a blocked passage where the cooler one goes, can it be removed or do i have to replace the entire thing

That's why you get the UED oil cooler one, they remove it for you. You might be able to remove it, but it looks awfully tedious. It's just a matter of cutting the plastic that blocks it. You have to cut each little triangle in the plastic out. I don't know how to describe it exactly, but look at your driver's side and compare it to the passenger's.

oic....lol might as well paint them myself matte black then...but then again i suck at arts and crafts so ill take your advice john

either way, the installation requires you to remove the bumper
