^Except Full-Race doesn't mess around. It will get done (don't fail me, Geoff haha).

Of all the products I've seen on the market, all of Full-Race's exhaust/turbo components have been truly the highest quality. There have been fitment issues with some of the stuff I've installed, but as far as actual product quality goes, Full-Race is right up there.

And... Geoff is a good guy who actually knows what he's talking about, and will try to dumb it down so you understand too .

I asked over on Cobb Forums as well, but there seems to be much more traffic here. Also searched this thread and didn't see answers...

1) Any guidance on a 2012 335is using the maps for a 2011? I can't imagine much has changed, but want to be sure rather than taking chances.

2) It was asked earlier in the thread about AP and the DCT. Has anyone reported issues running a Stage 1 OTS map with DCT?

3) I'm assuming that on the is, the overboost function goes away. Is this correct?

That's great news. That's easily what puts Cobb ahead of the others IMO. I had many fun times with ATR going on the seat beside me as I dialed in my former car.

Excuse my ignorance, but in order to run a Cobb Stage 2+FMIC, must you have an aftermarket FMIC, or will stock work?

It is fine on regular premium. though i've been using the tesco 99, it is genuinely a monster now. never dyno'd, nor yet.

p.s. 3rd pulls at 70 like 2nd does at 40 now; even 4th at 70 is 'entertaining'; in fourth, straight line, on a progressive throttle, as you pass through 3.5 to 4k rpm at around 70 the tyres are indicating they might want do their own thing if you're not careful...you know, that tiniest of squirms that tells you something about (lack of) traction available.

About as difficult as installing software on your PC, but with less clicks (turning off the aircon, radio and lights is as difficult as it gets)

actually, primarily because of the cold weather I put battery charger on (the ignition is on whole time, about twenty minutes, and fuel pump turns itself on while flashing about half way through. better safer than sorry)

dang - looks like Stage2+FMIC still requires downpipes

Cobb, here's a question - when Cobb finally offers or releases protuning capabilities, would you say that you could get "Stage2+FMIC numbers" from a vehicle that doesn't have 3" downpipes ??

When do the RB's go in? I'm more than curios because we will have the exact same setup with RB's, FBO, and HFS-3 Meth.

I would bet using meth would yield some close numbers fo S2+ with some kind of custom tunning, which keeps EGTs down without DPs, backpressure would still be a factor though.

CObb,

Where is this template you mentioned a while back you were going to create, where it has all the recommended parameters/figures of what our cars should be running?

Thanks
