So going from stage 1 to stage 2 is about as big difference as going from stock to stage 1?
I think I will need meth too then... I got a friend who's got a 2011 Mustang 5.0 convertible and I wouldn't mind being faster than him

You shouldn't even need Stage 2 for that...

I dunno about that lol. Those things dyno around 370-380 whp and the Coupe weighs about the same as us.

Yeah, but that doesn't translate to performance as well as it should. Most stock 5.0 coupes turn around 12.8-12.9 in the 1/4. That would a be drivers race with a tune only N54.

He's got a convertable and I guess they are a little heavier than the coupe but I've driven it and I have to say that I like it alot and its pretty fast.
Its a few months until its spring here in Sweden so I got 4-5 months to get my ride in order =)

The convertible underperforms as far as I've seen around here. The coupes are amazing, but the convertibles suffer more performance wise than the numbers would suggest

Im fairly sure yucci's dyno was "optimistic." It could be factory freak, but she should've done a FBO no tune pull to see what numbers it was.

Is the highest??Like i mentioned before, when taking out the rear cats on the midpipe on the 1,the gains are great.I do agree of a baseline stock,.

Without baseline its just a number.... On stock boost that car probably made 310-320 whp on that dyno.

By the way for meth i would get a very small nozzle up to stage 2+. an M3 should be plenty fo IAT suppression.

The average stage 2+ car dynos at 370-380rwhp. Secondary cats(even on a 135) aren't worth 40-50rwhp.

I can predict his next couple of posts. He will say that when he took out his secondary cats, his car transformed into a legendary super saiyan vehicle and obliterated the road with sheer magnificence. His car undoubtedly produces over 420rwhp with the cobb tune since that 135i in the video posted produced those numbers. Then when you rebut that fact, the famous line 'cool story bro' will appear.

I dont expect to gain much from removing the secondary cats on my 135, that's why they're staying in. I love the way it sounds with catless DPs and magnaflow axleback with stock midpipes and i also love that i can't smell the exhaust unless im driving it hard for an extended time.

I don't smell much of anything though. Only on cold start with all my windows down, but how often does that happen?

Well, thats good to know. I let my buddy drive my car after the DP install so i could hear how it sounds from outside the car and i noticed the smell is VERY pronounced from outside the vehicle when giving it gas. As long as it doesn't smell inside i'm fine with that lol

You do have a 135i though, you don't have the big resonator that I do on the E90. If you cut your secondary cats you may be in for a loud surprise I know just downpipes on stock exhaust made my 135i a bit louder. Downpipes on my E90 did absolutely nothing in terms of sound.

Thanks for the heads up, i'm not really looking for anything louder. As far as the exhaust goes, the car is almost perfect for what i want.

Rader, you have to remind yourself the 335i flows great from the factory due to the dual exhaut. The 135 has a dual then flow into a single and the cats chock up the flow going out to the single pipe. When I did the delete I felt a jump in power and faster spool up.The sound changed very slighty only, cause we do in fact (THEMYST) we do have a bug resonator in the back similar to yours. You have to remember cats or any cat is restricted .I bet you the gains are 15 whp or more on a 135.

The car will be quiet still when the flapper is closed but wot, it sounds like a supra..When I'm driving normal I can't tell the car is modded.
