well it wasn't to microsoft, it was to best buy's insurance company AIG, and they wanted the HD...everything intact as it was bought, because they were sending me a gift card to purchase a brand nib one at best buy. so i bought an extra hd so i can send the empty one in (that's how hardcore i was)
