Yup, still out east. Figured with the small one getting bigger, it's not fair to stick him in the rear seat anymore, as it's pretty damn small (though have you been in the new 911? The car is like... twice as big, but the rear seat is half the size, I actually completely do not fit!)

So it was time to get a comfy sedate station wagon luxobarge.

I'm digging your hearse. That's mighty big.
I'm getting ready to unload my F150 myself. I've had enough of trucks.

yeah ... and that was the main sticking point with the wife.

i tried to explain that no hearse comes with a twin turbo Lambo V10 and Brembo GTs out of the factory... but it fell on deaf ears.

Well my M240 finally arrived last Friday. Did my first 750km. At first I was thinking ... meh. Fast yes, but kinda vague. Found the Sport+ mode. Nice. Like big smile Nice. Have my eyes on a race catted DP and DME / Transmission flash tune. Would bring it up to 440HP/480TQ. Madness. Next to get some winter rubber on this thang ...

Madness?

I have 700HP.

Then again, I weigh probably three of your cars’ worth.

Yup Lamborghini twin-turbo V10!

Audi _really_ wanted to just go and outdo the E63 and the M5.

Nah, there are no gas stations after the climb begins. Unless I can get a mobile tanker to follow me, I’m not making it halfway up the mountain. Do you realise it’s almost 4,000m high? That means at LEAST a 10km drive without a gas station nearby. I’m not doing that shit, that’s crazy talk.

So true. Anyway I assume most of the mountain must be off limits now anyway.

Little 2er report

I'm two weeks in and besides proper interior door handle placement (who needs to get out of the car anyway) and a smallish trunk, the little M240 is a proper little bullet. Transmission and B58 power plant are well matched. Even the EDC suspension is ok. The car really needs to be driven in Sport mode at a min where its tuned to keep a min RPM and with higher shifts points. It sure to keep the M smile on your face. Comfort mode is little too benign. Put it in Sport+ mode, and well .... you need to be on the track. The auto transmission is pretty good too. If there isnt something you like you just give the appropriate shift paddle a press and off you go. I was going to flash it for another 80HP and 100TQ, but there is no point. The car in its current stock form is plenty fast and will surely get me in trouble as it is.
