Sorry if I missed it, but is the exhaust turbo-back or cat-back?

What's the Stage 2 package composed of?

Not to be a dick, but if it's just the intake and exhaust, wouldn't it be cheaper to buy them both seperately. According to the first post, we'd save $600 via that method, as opposed to $550 buying them together. lol

BTW, any vids of how the exhaust sounds?

Thats because the MSRP is wrong. Its supposed to be $3098 instead of $2999 so more like a total savings of $640 or so.

Thanks,

This cf intake looks like the oem one to me, but in cf? Why is it making more power? The air comes in from the same place? is the housing a larger diameter then stock, is that the only difference?

The front end also has two scoops that go against the grille to scoop up the cold air coming in from the front of the car.

No it wouldn't come out cheaper, the $600 savings you are talking about is the savings from the individual purchase of each, you save more because you would pay more, if you buy them together as the package your getting a GB discount of the package MSRP, not the individual components MSRP.

I guess I understand how you can make that mistake by just adding what is saved.

Gotcha, so it's what you said, plus bigger diameter, plus a freer flowing filter I assume.

Yup, the thing is that the intake takes advantage of the kidney grilles that BMW has, it would make no sense to stick out some tubes to the bottom like conventional cold air intakes and risk hydrolock on the engine and getting the filter excessively dirty. The kidney grilles provide a constant flow of fresh cold air coming right up against the scoops. Like sticking your head out your sunroof and opening up your mouth

And not so important as all that, but you open that hood and it looks amazing with all the CF. Prestige for a prestigious car

Cool, thanks for your imput. can I see picsof the "scoops"? I looked at the pics you provided and couldn't see any scoops. Also, are there pics of your exhaust? I like the sound but would like to know weight savings, materials used, design, etc. Thanks!

oops, sorry about the exhaust question in the intake thread. got your threads mixed up.

Like I've said before, it mostly depends on you guys, we have a pretty good production rate, the lead time is 30% our manufacturing 70% you guys (the GB members) sending the 50%deposit. So far we have 9 deposits out of over 40 people who said they wanted to be a part of the GB.

How many people need to put their deposit down for you to start production?

x2. And also, if you don't get as many people as you initially planned, when would you call it quits and refund our money?

When we started the GB we promised the said price if we had at least 20 people. When we have 20 we will start production.

We will get there, but we need everyone who said they wanted the intake to do their part

I'm sorry I have not paid yet. I am still a little bit confused about all of this. Post #1 has all the information, but it's a bit disorganized and I am short on time.

Would you happen to be able to create a quick synopsis of what the Dyno graph shows? Here is what I am looking for: just the facts, no BS.

Clear picture of dyno [it's not clear at all]
Mods on the car
Stock peak #'s [clear pictures or just write it out...]
After mods peak #'s [clear pictures or just write it out...]
Forgive me if this has already been discussed, there are too many pages and it's not in the first post.
