Yeah...that's the sump. Completely hidden from view of the main display. It's what holds all the unsightly crap you don't want people to see. But actually...it does need a little cleaning.

Figured it had to be something like that. Spending all that money on a nice tank yet leaving it looking like a real life swamp didn't make much sense to me lol. Post up a couple pics of your set up when you get a chance.

I see you from PGH. I just moved away after living there for 11 years. I'll be back for some PITT football games this fall.

I sure hope they can complete in the ACC...Kinda like Wanny, even though he couldn't coach a game, he was a hell of a recruiter. Teams been down hill since. I usually try to hit 2 or 3 games a year myself.

Some things I just got for the tank last weekend....

LPS Galaxea coral...this thing is about 8 inches long.

SPS Horn coral...~ 5 inches tall.

And an Orchid Dottyback. He's just starting to come out of the caves (little timid moving to the display tank).

Wow thats a nice tank you got there!

Honestly I'm so happy Tino is no longer taking the snaps that I automatically believe we will play better. watching him play was like watching a train wreck in slow motion. He would have an ok game here and there but over all I don't understand how he remained the starter all those years.

$30/lb for wild caught salmon... i'll try it later tonight. also got some tofu and mushrooms because i'm just too cheap to buy a huge slab of fish at that rate.

edit: it was good. all you need is a good bottle of olive oil. the fish was crunchy/fried, baked, and sashimi all al the same time. the stir fry was easy.

just picked up some more tuna, salmon, and scallops. damn, that bottle of olive oil is good (100% extra virgin italian)... it's too easy!

edit: just ate. too easy. stainless > non-stick. total cleanup: 1 cleaver, 1 frying pan, 1 fork, 1 spatula. it was fuckin' good. can't really fuck it up unless you burn it.

SO the wife sometimes asks for strange things for her birthday...

Typically this would be death for husband to do but, her wish is my command...

Was reading about this online, did you know you can heat soup in these things??? WTF? Heated via friction...

My wife saw this at Costco the other day and has been on my case about buying it. Hopefully you have used it enough to tell me if it is worth it or not? It's darn expensive for a blender is what I told her.
