The only thing I can't understand about all this is how 200+ orders in the first few minutes was unexpected. For a number of people who purchased after AA and RD Sport releases, the promise of V2 factored heavily into their decision to go with the Procede. It's listed in nearly every comparo thread on this board.

For those who bought before AA and RD Sport, most of them were looking at $1300 for 40whp as a major bargain for whp/$ and a no brainer. How then should they be expected to look at $150 for another 40whp?

Another way to look at this is that everyone who has ordered at the $150 price has gotten a deal. If demand soaks up all the supply in less than 10 minutes, then the market could have borne a higher price, and it still would have easily consumed all of the supply.

In other words, Shiv could have charged more and 200+ people still would have paid it. I'd wager he still would have sold out today even if the price had been $400.

Gee...why don't you just tell him to raise the price. Anyway, Shiv has always set a fair price, and I trust that he will continue to abide by that....true he's in it to make $$, but he's NOT in it to rape all of us. He began with a $1,300 XEDE, then the same $1,300 for the "more advanced" PROcede (+ $65 for the optional C-reader), and now, another $150 for PROcede v2.0 ($1,450 w/o the C-reader or $1,515 w/ the C-reader) or $900 for PROcede DARK. By contrast, the AA XEDE is still ~ $1,100-$1,200, and the SSTT is $600...not to mention Terry's JB2 which is even less $$.
