Now you just need to photo shop some Captain Morgan garb on them and I'll bet you aren't far off! Hee Hee Hee

Yeh - That was the best I could do in my sleepy state. So no one knows even what ship they are on now? All I know is that my dealer (fleet person) told me a few weeks ago that the ship was the Maersk Welkin and that it was expected to arrive 6-22. Now looking at my notes maybe she meant it would be at the dealer 6-22. Who knows.

Well in any case, we are or will be unloaded by this time tomorrow. So hopefully, we will all have our cars by next week this time. The wait is almost over!

Thanks for the pictures Wikid, have a good night.

Thanks Leslie..

The search tool I use highlight the ship since there are so many green arrows on the map .. Here is an updated map.. I'll check again tomorrow when I get into the office.

This is a crack up! We finally thought we had things nailed down, and - poof - it's gone! I blame the pirates and poker!

P.S. and that demon rum!

Yep, I thoght so too. I'll check my BMW account tomorrow to see if the status has changed. It would be kinda nice if we all were on the Swan Ace though. It has a small amount of BMWs on it (601) and maybe we will get through processing faster. I would take a couple of days earlier delivery even if I knew all the work we did on the Maersk Welkin was for naught and that I started the wrong thread (woops).

Thanks Pete for staying on top of this and the pics,

Nite all!

Just an opinion but I think the vast majority of us anyway are still on the MW. I think the confusion with the date lies with the first port in the US versus Port Hueneme. My dealer sells more BMWs then any dealer in the nation and I'm guessing that the date they gave me (22nd) was a result of them receiving quite a few cars on each ship - and this one had no weather or mechanical problems and it is two days early. Of course, I didn't think we were stopping in Long Beach.

Pool Boy - Are you in Long Beach? an do you see a ship out your window?

Richifever - I never answered you from before but I won't get a 3G iphone until this one fails. It has been great. 3G would be nice though.

I have a call into my sales guy, he was off yesterday. I will try to find out about this confusion and a closer date for delivery. When I called yesterday, I spoke to somebody that told me the car would be unloaded yesterday or today (Wednesday or today being Thursday). So that is where I am getting confused as the Maersk Welkin isn't due into Port Hueneme until tomorrow.

Does anyone know if the VPC processes cars on the weekend?

It was foogy this AM and I could not see any ships out my window. I will be in meetings part of the day will try to check later. How did we determine that the ship is coming to Long Beach after all? I must have missed that entry. Does the tracker show it in LB?

Looks like they are in the queue for Long Beach Harbor. Could they be docking there first and THEN on to Oxnard?
I will look for the ship later.

I can't see the ship from my hotel, but the bellboy here does work on the docks too. He says there is a Toyota unload facility here in Long Beach and it is not uncommon for a ship to unload Toyotas before heading up to Oxnard to unload Bimmers. He just drove an M3 off a ship last week up there. My guess is we are docking at PH tonight or tomorrow.

Where would they make Toyotas that would end up on the same ship as BMWs?

Perhaps our ship made a stop in Japan before Germany. I saw a truckload of brand new Lexus' on the road as I was leaving Long Beach for LAX.
