I am proud to announce the impending arrival of my Barbera Red Coupe Tomorrow (Photos to follow). I need to say that Richard R. (CA) and RJ (Sales Manager) are two of the finest and professional people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with in the automotive industry. I've owned BMW's Porsche's, Lexus etc. and on this deal they have gone above and beyond the call of duty in customer service. To anyone in the State of Florida or Southern Georgia in the market for a BMW should first call Richard R. , you will not be sorry you did.

Yes, I actually just got off the phone with the Euro delivery office, they said expect the car Saturday or MONDAY .

Although I don't mind, my main concern is making sure I can get my winter tires mounted and balanced by an outside shop (dealer charges too much) so I can actually enjoy the car, not sure if my shop is open on Saturday or this coming Monday but I sent a message to find out.

I hope my CA is right (today or Sat delivery) and the truck driver wants the weekend off and drops off today, that would be ideal.

Sunday, is their schedualed date for arrival. They might be in tom though so there is still a chance that we may have it for tom. If not tom. then most definately Monday, as Ive knew all along. lol It will be a great Christmas Eve though. lol

My BOV came in the mail today, still waiting on the rest of the kit though too.

My CA says I am Sunday or Monday as well.

I was originally told Monday on 12/1 (or earlier) when I actually put down the deposit so no surprise either, but still a very nice Xmas present!

Would be nicer on Sunday, as Monday I would not want to keep the folks in the dealer on such a day, also I would get it sooner!

Hmmmm, I am in Pompano which is north of Ft, Laud for slant83, so if the cars came SOUTH from Charleston, how does he get his first??????? lol

Mine is from Lauderdale BMW ..... maybe they had their own truckload. Stay on top of them. Luckily you stayed away from Vista Coconut Creek (horror!!)

2. I know about coco creek, they wouldn't even respond to specific config price quote........

I will call tomorrow. I have hardly called my CA, and he knows I want it, so I think I can nag him a bit

He says they work Sundays but I find it hard to believe their best people are there at that time and just before the Holidays, but what do I know?

Had the SAME issue with Vista Coco Creek which is only 3 miles from my house. Instead went to Lauderdale BMW 22 miles away.

Drove home in I-95 crawl during rush hour and tourist season . Enough to scare the seasoned Floridian this time of year, especially in a new car, but loving it!!! AMAZING. It's hard to concentrate on driving with everything so new. All but 7 miles on the ODO at pickup. Reading all the stuff in the manual and setting up the gizmos. Tomorrow I am getting up early to cruise in the daytime and enjoy the nice weather. Sunny and 81, probably head to South Beach or CityPlace in WPB to exercise the car!!

I know they work Sundays for delivery but if you are going to get mats or touch up paint, service dept. may not be open FYI

Tint scheduled for Monday at 11am!!

Ok, I finally took some pictures but most of them were blurry or showing all the road dirt and dust I've accumulated since pickup last saturday.

Anyways, a bit late but as promised - oen shot of my car (interior)! Heehee.


I need to get this thing cleaned and waxed properly... any recommendations on detailers in the NoVA WashingtonDC area?

Just called my CA who says my car is scheduled for dealer delivery sometime today, but has not yet arrived.

So I should get tomorrow if all goes well........

He said he will call as soon as he is aware the car is at the dealer....

I feel like a little kid again waiting for Santa.. lol

What about A1A up along the coast? Nice slow drive by the ocean............I think that may be my first drive. Jupiter to Ft Laud along A1A or longer......................
