I've been impressed so far. Not only the "horror" aspect which is obvious, but the side stories including the emotional confrontation between Leeza and Joe in his home. That was spectacular acting!

Ya, you're right. The show's a top all-rounder: great story, acting, fx, moods, horror.

Meh. It should have just been a movie, a lot of filler then it gets a bit silly.

agree completely. i was really into it for the first few episodes and then it really falls apart at the end.

The wheel of Time is getting a few episodes. It has all the right pieces, but not sure if I'm hooked or not

Now, Black Mirror is dark. I think I've seen 3 so far, but not in any particular order. And you thought social media was the cause. This seems to show that human condition is just fucked in general. I almost feel embarrassed watching it because of subject matter, when someone else walks into TV room

I find a lot of Netflix shows are artificially long to bolster content, the documentaries are brutal. Hernandez one, seriously could have bene cut to an hr and was like 4.5 hrs.... come on man.

Oh no! I just started Midnight Mass; got through 2 episodes. So, maybe it's not worth watching?

I already thought it was starting slow; but was hoping the coming episodes got more entertaining and creepy.

I did start Arcane over the weekend; maybe I'll see how that goes instead.

There's just so many shows out now that are just not worth watching.

I've got 2 episodes left so I'm comitted. Through midway, I don't think it's that bad. Not a great show overall (IMHO) but not bad. I can see how it could nose dive from here but I'll find out. Definitely has a Needful Things + Dominion vibe.

I have a pretty unique perspective of finishing both Dexter and Dexter: New Blood all at one go (probably one of the last ppl not to have seen the former until recently). Overall, it's really good but the 2nd series seemed rushed. Funny ppl didn't like how the 1st series ended but I dunno about how the 2nd one ended...they had what 10 years and it still wasn't satisfying/didn't make much sense/seemed rushed. Lots of questions.

Yup, it's kinda ironic ppl were complaining about it, but at least it made sense/was plausible, then the producers had all this time to supposedly fix things and figure out a better ending and they come up w that mess in the 2nd series.
