Hello, I'm new here, just picked up a 2006 BMW 325i from a family member and I was looking to have some work done on it (maintenance / chip).

I have 3 shops in mind, and I was wondering if you guys had any experience with them or could point me to a good shop in the chicagoland area

1) Rennology Autosport out in Tinley Park
2) R & N Bavarian Motors in Chicago
3) Chicago Motorsportz in Arlington Heights

It would be better to tell us what you are looking to have done on the car specifically.

Both A&L autobody and VS motorsports come highly recommended by most all of us as we have had excellent experiences using them.

Ohh its an old drift team I'm a part of (Drift Under Influence lol go ahead, make fun). I've always used it as my SN so its just become second nature. I don't drink or smoke. Clean as a whistle.

Well I'm looking to get most of my fluids replaced, and for now, chip for moderate gains / (re)move my speed limiter. I haven't even heard of those places, I'll have to give them a call. Is there pricing reasonable? I've heard about converting to the 330i through 3 stage intake manifold + tune, but idk if I wanna invest that much in the car YET. Literally just got it.

If you want a tune some of us have worked with a local tuning company called Eurocharged that does custom flashes. I had them do my 328 with some decent gains. Let me know if you want more details on that, its not too expensive actually.

As far as fluids changed I would use VSmotorsports for that, great knowledgeable guys. It's a tad on the expensive side (after all its no jiffy lube) but they are VERY good at what they do.

I have heard of others doing the 3 stage swap on their 325i with success so its possible.
