Sorry grandpa. There's my loan. When I get your first payment on it, I'll build it just like you want.
Sad too, I actually ran across your build while browsing and liked it a lot. Too bad the asshole behind it doesn't match the beauty of the car.

I have always ran ~0.10 on each wheel with good experience. That is minutes I'm talking about. 20 minutes total on each axle

I get my alignments as close to 0 as possible for the toe. Positive or negative toe while cambered over -2 is gonna cause the wheel to skip and drag. Wearing through your tires noticeably faster. I'm only speaking from my personal experience. I'm far from an expert on the subject matter.

Fuck it. I'm getting new wheels built.
19x10.5 +14
19x12 +24

Waiting on the fender to come in to get this and the fender painted.

Does anybody have 60mm 6" 34k Swift springs before I order from BWS?
Also, with guys running that small of a spring in the rear, is it possible to keep the exact same height as the 8" springs? I don't have room to go lower.
I have the small collar removed, the perch collar is spun all the way up.

Been a while since I posted pics of my car.
Changed out the air suspension for Broadway Statics. Rebuilt Hamann PG1's. Tried to match the camber. Need an alignment tho.

From what I recall, Tee had 6" rear springs. I remember him saying he had to modify the spring perch so that they didn't fall out on large dips. I would assume you would sit much lower. I have 8" 20K rears and my BC height adjusters are about midway on their threads. Going 2 inches lower by spring would sit about .75" lower even at the highest thread setting on my coils. I'm swapping out for 28K 7" springs to make my setup work a lititle better.

Looks AMAZING! Why did you go back to coils? I'm debating getting Broadway Static coils right now or saving some money until next year and going with an Airrex bagged setup. I'd love to get some feedback from someone who has done both.

Thanks Fly! I recall seeing the picture of his perch, but I can't seem to find it. I couldn't remember his exact measurements either. I'll just have to email him and see if he's got the picture still. I think I can make the 7's work, but I don't want to get 28k to have it be too soft again..

I've had air for two years and I wanted to change things up. But most of all I was tired of not having "perfect height" and always adjusting pressure. First I had elevel which had perfect height, but I had lots of problems with the sensors (going out of range, broke two sensor arms and so on) but the pressures were really off. A typical pressure setting was 33 and 37psi on each front wheel and 60psi and 80psi on each rear wheel, which caused the car to pull sideways and be very soft on one side.

After switching to V2 I was kind of happy with the pressures, but they were often a few psi over or below my setting, which changed the height enough to irritate me. And because I was driving low I had little pressure in the bags causing the ride to be quite soft and comfy. Excellent for road trips but too soft for active driving.. Also it is nice to not have a compressor running all the time because of adjusting heights up and down.

I'm really happy with my 16/24k BWS. But I regret not going with 28k rear springs. Still a lot of movement in the rear.

Lol. I bought the same 1. Did you only use double sided tape or did you use the screws they provided? I haven't installed mine yet. Still debating whether I want to do it myself or have a shop do it.

Thanks man. Definitely gonna go with Broadway/Fortune Auto now. I'm not interested in dealing with those headaches. I daily my car and I just want a set ride height without having to worry about all the extra components breaking down. Gonna stick with 18k/28k... the Rears on this platform are so damn bouncey. I wonder if GabeS ever got his custom 34k springs from Swift. Seemed like a good choice but they were 5.5 inches if I recall correctly.

BWS can get the 6" 34k for the rear, I've been emailing them. I'm just hesitant to pull the trigger because I'm not sure if I have enough play without making an extension bracket. And yeah, the amount of bounce is insane... Idk if I'll even be able to run the new wheels with how much the rear travels. (I have a stupid driveway, tucks about .75" of wheel when I angle in)

SM335i, I got it from happybuyitnow168, but there's another vendor somebody mentioned a couple pages back.

I haven't installed it yet. Need to drill the holes, then get it painted. I'm gonna go with paint matched. I plan on using the bolts/screws provided, since I'm thinking about adding a splitter too. Still debating though.
