Sanded and buffed the head light covers.

Finished with a little clear coat.

I think I bought the lines from ECS. About 2.5' to do the lines up to the tee. Took less than an hour on the lift but I already had the belly cover off for the intercooler install. I just used a bottle jack and a 2x4 to hold up each side as I did each mount.

Do you have a list of part numbers used or does someone sell a kit? I did this to my CTSV and loved the result.

Go check out the lighting forum or the sponsored for sale forum. There are a few people.

Flashed my transmission through the awesome xHP. First, I figured that my Samsung Tab3 does not support OTG, then, I went and bought a used Galaxy S4. Flashed perfectly, will see how it drives tomorrow. But, I must say, it was nerve-wracking sitting through all those gongs with transmission and DTC errors. All is good though. For the power supply I used an HP server DPS 1200FB A (12v/75a). At $35 it beats buying those expensive ones.

For the full interior (including glove box, footwell etc) i went to:
e92-lighting.com
I've bought from them in the past and always had quick shipping but this time things went a bit slow? And I had to follow up with them a couple times, Great kit though...

For the license plate lights I went to:
burger motorsports

And for the reverse lights I went to:
bimlandperformance.big c a r t e l.com

Hope this helps - as others have mentioned there are numerous vendors that can help you but this is what worked for me and I'm pleased with the results.

ps-if you do end up ordering from e-92 lighting they also sell a neat little plastic interior install tool thats a great help...its a couple bucks

one thing I would add is regardless of what kit you go with I would suggest an interior dome light that has a single piece "T" mount as opposed to one that has wires coming off it - I found the "T" mount to be a much cleaner and easier install - E92 lighting was originally shipping with the wired mount a couple years back but mine came with the single "T" mount and I'm pleased. For reference here are a couple pics - one shows the original E92 kit and the other is an example of the newer style dome light and map lights. Disclaimer: Maybe the original wired is better for some reason? I don't know, no expert when it comes to these things

Was it hard to swap the reverse light bulbs? Any codes? Do they make a noticeable difference? I find myself backing into my driveway(out in the country, so there's only moonlight) and it's really hard to see behind me. I enabled my rear fog lights and turn them on when I back up, but that only helps slightly.

its a 5 min job at most - you simply remove a couple fasteners from your trunk liner to give you access to the reverse bulbs - unplug the existing oem bulb and pop the LED in - that's it.

They are quite a bit brighter but tough for me to quantify how much brighter for you here (sorry)...that said I think there are a couple people that have posted videos/photos on line so that may help.

No codes so far, no additional wiring etc...a very nice product I'm impressed, worth my $22.00. Hope this helps...

Well it was Saturday not today, but, I pulled the intake manifold and cleaned the CBU out of it. And I fixed the infamous DS not working.

I would add - take your time. Couple of youtube videos of the light covers being GENTLY removed for a LED bulb swap.

Overall - its very easy, but monotonous working the covers off.

If you have a small flat head screwdriver (Precision too size) - that works too.

Installed a Strut Tower Bar today. Definitely going to make it difficult to add oil in the future or remove the oil filter.

That's the first Strut Tower bar I've seen for our vehicles. Do you notice a big difference?

I only went for a short drive after installing it but I did notice the front end was much stiffer and didn't seem to be as affected by potholes & man hole covers. Will have to go for a more spirited drive when the weather gets nicer.

Can we get a link on where to buy that? Not being as affected by potholes has me curious. Removing it for every oil change would be a pain though.

It's super easy to install/uninstall. Just two 13mm Nuts on each side.

Here's the link: http://r.ebay.com/OWdMXT

There's also this one too. Not sure the difference but it has a different Part # http://r.ebay.com/McrPbp

Interesting.... Perhaps another mod to add to my list. It looks like that second one you listed is straight, so it wouldn't cover up the oil filler cap or the filter.

You're right!

Shoot maybe I should've got that one instead!

ECS Tuning also has a Strut Bar that they confirmed fits the 335d. It's a little more expensive though and I didn't like the look of it so I went with the one I did because it's Powder Coated White and my Car's White As well.

I have seen pictures where the straight one covers the oil fill cap on the N54 engine. And your picture obviously shows the convex bent one covers the oil cap on the M57.

It would seem that they should be interchangeable for the E90 chassis (same mounting points regardless of engine), but not interchangeable for the engine layout. A picture is truly worth a 1000 words.
