Can't quite see if the radiator mount is welded to the frame horns or if it is just off the custom bumper bar?
The custom mounts are tied into the front of the frame rails making them completely removable. Here are a few more pics of the setup...

Did you end up driving last weekend at Autobahn?

Still VERY alive and well! This forum has thinned out over time due to FB and IG... but most updates I provide are on IG. TLDR: pushed hard to have her ready by start of season. Build list way too long for timeline. Shop got swamped with race season. Pushed build back to off season which is now right around the corner. Will be complete this offseason and expect to be back on track the start of next year.

We have amassed a few more folks involved and a few more fun parts since last update. I’ll work on adding more details on these shortly!

And since it’s been a while since I’ve provided an update... picked up some fresh suspension. JRZ 3 Way Motorsports Series 12 dampers w/ Staubli quick disconnect fittings.

And if you’re wondering about the brand new MCS’s that we hadn’t even run yet (proper question!), those were valved for a non to low aero setup/softer spring rate. But since we’ll be running all the downforces, these are valved to run a much stiffer spring and lots of downforce. That said the MCS’s + Eibach springs are for sale here.

Some JRZ eye candy...

Haven't been active on the forums for a while, but rather disappointed to see this still hasn't roll out of the shop yet. What's the timeline you guys are working with now?

Hey all! I haven't been active on this forum in a long time as it seems most folks have moved over to FB groups. However I miss the forum feel. That said, for those who are still active on here... after nearly 3 years of being built... she's 99.76848484% complete! Just fired her up and revved her for the first time last night!

Disregard ugly wheel mode... she has some fresh E88's ready to go on when she rolls out of the shop. I'm not sure where I last left off but we have her built to run full aero - an AJ Hartman CF rear diffuser with vented rear wheels, AJ Hartman rear wing and a Klaus Composites front splitter. We also installed the 3-way JRZ Motorsport suspension, a sidepiped oval exhaust to make clearance for the custom driveshaft/reduce heat for the eventual flat bottom flooring, installed the AiM dash + GPS unit, custom aluminum dash, Sparco Circuit II halo race seat, safety netting & padding, finished the completely slimmed down wiring harness (which was a MAJOR project... in hindsight, would have been easier to convert to standalone), custom mounted 335d coolant tank relocation, buttoned up of the SpeedTech ST kit with custom Vibrant clamped plumbing, finished the install of the tubular front end with custom ducting... and I'm sure plenty more.

And aside from a few tiny items, the remaining things on the list are to order a custom driveshaft from DSS to fit the M3 DCT 3.15 LSD conversion, uprights for the wing, alignment/corner balance, dyno, code out any of the wonky factory nannies and get her dialed in on track. The bummer is... after all this time... it doesn't look like any of the tracks will be open due to this lockdown! But I did just get an email from MVP about an early August open trackday at Autobahn.... **GASP**

Crazy build, the amount of custom work and fab that has gone into this project is amazing.

Well done.

Thanks man, appreciated. Definitely a labor of love that’s not for the faint of heart!

Also... I did a stop by the shop tonight and fired her up again. Sweet Moses.. I don’t think the sound of this single turbo side pipe will ever get old!

very comprehensive build, well done... was there a reason for not choosing a coupe as a shell instead of a 4 door model?

Thanks! Supposedly there’s more rigidity in the 4 door version, but with this level of cage it really doesn’t matter. Ultimately it was personal preference. Love the proportions of the e90.
