I'd be curious too. It would seem like it's a comparison of a Corolla to a Lexus because I don't even consider these cars to be even close to the same league.

My 6 year old son was looking over my shoulder the other day and even he knew it was an Aston Martin! He wants a ride at the next meet.

After 600 miles, here are my thoughts.

Acceleration: Oddly enough the BMW seems a tad quicker to 60. I know they are about the same in tests but the 335 seems more sudden, probably the turbos. After 60 the AM rockets to 140 in the blink of an eye.

Drive / Feel: The 335 felt more connected to the road and was pretty stable a higher speeds. The AM is a little isolated from the road but would only really bother me at the track. The AM feels like its glued to the road and corners as if on rails. The 335 sport seats were really nice, even for longer drives. The AM seats are awesome! I am not sure about drives over 3 hours, and probably won't find out.

Fit & Finish: Probably not fair as the AM is hand built and hand stitched. The leather is coat quality and has the most incredible smell, I hope it lasts a few years! All interior metal parts are actually metal, and the few plastic pieces are luxury quality. The exterior has excellent panel gaps and the paint is top notch. Now I still think the 335 has a really nice fit & finish, but the comparison is unfair, as you guys will see at the next meet.

A few things missing: Most reviewers say the AM needs more HP. Maybe a little, but I am using it on the street for crying out loud, do I really need more? And the fact that the 6 CD changer is not MP3 compatible boggles my mind? And for everyone that complains about the cup holders or lack of cockpit storage, I am still looking for a place to put my insurance card

The Vantage is definately on the short list of my overall favorite vehicles. Not too over the top (like the Italian cars), not quite as conspicuous as the DB9 or Vanquish.

I also prefer the quirks (a.k.a character) of British cars, and have two of them - MINI and LR3.
