Did you uninstall the AP before going to the dealer? Did the car still misfire with the stock map on it?

I've wondered this as when you uninstall the AP, surely it deletes the codes related to the faults so the dealer cannot find what's wrong?

I was going in limp mode stock as well before i even got the AP. For some reason my car would only go in limp mode when accelerating up highway on ramps...I uninstalled the AP went up the onramp near my job triggering limp mode. Read the codes with the AP to verify they were the same(they were) then took my car to the dealer.

they don't have to ST available on the website. But I was told they do have one..

Cobb Stage 2+ Sport (91 octane) - Helix FMIC, UR DP's, UR intake, cold ass weather.

I did a few 3rd gear pulls last night. Like a retard, I forgot to recheck Cylinder Timing Correction in my data log list, but I did log my Cylinder 1 timing.

Here are the overall plots of two clean runs -


I truncated the pull to only show the first part where it looks like timing is going up and down from around 2k RPM - 4k RPM where it levels off.


Is that timing oscillation at the start of the pull normal? Once it levels off at 4k RPM, it's happy all the way to redline. Without logging the timing correction, I obviously can't be sure... but I figured posting a graph for comment was the way to go before heading out to log more pulls.

There is no stock throttle map available for Stage 2 yet (as far as I know). You need to run the stock stage 1 map or upgrade to Stage 2+ for the stock mapping.

e90soflo....you need to email Rob/Jason to get the ST maps for stage 2. You can only get it by email for now. let them know your ecu type...

I've been enjoying the st maps for stage 2 for about a week, it's very nice to be back on st rather than linear, which is my preference.

i totally agree...there is something about linear that does not put down power like the stock throttle does.

i floor both as fast as i can and for some reason the stock just feels like it has about 100wtq more.

Hey I'm currently running Stage 1 Aggressive on my 335is. Everything is stock minus a simple K&N drop in air filter. Out of curiosity, is there a higher level for the maps I can use with the stock parts I currently have? (can I use Stage 2 or will it cause a problem). Thanks.

Nope, you need dps for stage 2 or IC for stage 1+ which is not out yet.

We'e heard that many months ago. but the fact that it's in the hand of select shops means it should be out sooner than later
