I believe so. I took them to an independent shop and I double checked with them that they confirmed the calibration codes when they entered it... I’ll check the spark plugs tomorrow morning to make sure that is what it is.

I pulled the spark plugs this morning, and all are dry at the tip... could this be something to do with the lambda adaptations? I just flashed MHD stage 1 and went... should I try resetting those two adaptations?

I also wrote down the calibration codes on the injectors when I was under the engine cover. Going to try the protools app to make sure they are correctly coded as well.

thanks again for all of your help.

Hello, this is my first logging data. I'm running mhd stage 1+ with a upgraded fmic. Car felt sluggish unless I was going WOT and my obdii reader said I was pushing 17.4 psi in the intake manifold. Found out I should try mhd to log actual boost.

https://datazap.me/u/godzilx/3rd-gea...&data=3-22

Going WOT on 3rd and fourth gear, i hit a maximum of 14psi which is much lower than I expected. Am I misreading something or any ideas on what's not working?

What did you gap the new plugs to?
im using 95oct, and i gapped my ngk plugs to 0.02" as they recommended.
as u can see, most of corrections are on cyl 4, although i changed injector and coil and plug on that cyl...but corrections still present.. cant solve the issue.
and when checking the plugs, plugs on cyl 1,2 and 3 were fouled and black, while plugs on 4,5 and 6 were clean.. still thinking that a bad post cat o2 may cause these problems..

It wont hurt to try to reset the lambda adaptations

Try a lower octane map
Black plugs means you are running rich in that bank, did they look wet or smell of fuel when you checked them? Could be leaking injectors in that bank if they did.
Could be a bad o2 as well...you can try resetting Lambda adaptions

Hi Guys,

I was finally able to get a log uploaded and would really appreciate some insight as I am not very skilled in reading these graphs. The car has 93k on stock turbos currently running MHD 2+ (V7.1). PO had a Dinan tune on the car from 7k until I put MHD on there in January. I have an VRSF charge pipe with upgraded DVs, 5'' IC, Catless DPs, stock n54 mids and a Berk muffler. Spark plugs and coil packs have about 10k on them. Injectors are Index 12 but have about 30k on them. Walnut blasting was done about 8k ago. The car feels like it is running well other than the wastegates rattling like crazy.

I've found myself with an interesting opportunity... My local BMW indy that has done all of my work is hurting for work and knows I have been toying with the idea of replacing my turbos because the wastegate rattle is getting obnoxious. He offered to do the install for $750 which I believe is way under what most people usually pay from a reputable shop. I know this is not the place to discuss what route I should go but I am really curious to get everyones opinion whether my turbos are showing any signs of being close to dead. I will not need the car any time soon so the idea of having the turbos replaced now would be great but I do not want to spend 4k unless there is a reason to replace the turbos.

Thanks you!!

LPFP looks like it is on the way out. And you are getting some timing corrections on Cyl 4 and Cyl 1. Might add a gallon of E85 and see if they clean up or change the plugs on them. But that would make the LPFP struggle even more.

When I had my turbos done, I paid $1500 for install.

Thank you!

I would love to use e85 but the closest station is about 40 minutes away so it is not very realistic for me. I know the PO had the LPFP replaced three times under warranty so I am not surprised to see it is on its way out again. Assuming I go forward with the turbos I would imagine the fuel pump would become even more strained with newer better turbos. I know these cars just eat plugs but didn't think they'd be toast at 10k... oh well

Look into doing your own Stage 2 fuel pump with a Walbro 450 I think you can do it for under $200. It's a pretty easy mod.

Just log 3rd gear from 2000 to redline.
Just a quick glance, your boost is way off target.

I'll have to flash it again to take out the automatic downshift first.
I'll do this tomorrow, its already 9pm over here.

I don't see anything wrong here other then your WGDC is quite high.

What would that suggest? My turbos are working a bit extra? Is that a sign that they are near end of life or? Thanks.

I installed Motiv flex fuel and fuel-it stage 2 as well as MHD V8 stage 2+ and then took this log:
https://datazap.me/u/335iv8bait/log-...ata=22&solo=14
Im definitely concerned about the MASSIVE post-shift timing corrections, as well as the car leaning out to over 20 AFR. Can anyone help me make sense of this? Has original O2 sensors, index 9 injectors, N55 plugs have 20k miles on them gapped to .020, original turbos, 85k miles Car is completely catless and has relocated inlets and was running near 43% ethanol.

Could be a small boost leak, have you changed out the vacuum lines ever?
