I believe it does (CAN tool / Code Cleaner) and honestly the only reason I think they are using other tunes is so they can have some sort of base map and evolve from that, I know they did that for the sti for a little bit, but from my experience they will come out or upgrade the existing maps

You know, I love being tuned...but, general question to all who have tunes/piggy's:

How often you really take advantage of being tuned and ultimately is the limited amount of use worth the potential issues/expense?

and i agree but i just think its a bit cheap on their part, instead of being able to create stuff from scratch (like Terry or Vishnu or EC or 90% of the other tuners out there) they shortcut it. Its not a quality issue (thats more what this thing allows you to do to the car and how far you can push it) but more of a "hey do I trust these guys if they cut corners? and will they be able to fix potential problems if they arise since they didn't build the tune themself?"

very true, unless your like the guys who go to the track ever weekend, speaking of tunes, Al you need to pick up the BMW Scantool thing, I no longer need it and its all yours

The only reason I liked my jb3 tune was it had a nice power/torque curve and more power when i needed it, but that was like once in a blue moon when i felt like ripping on it
