I dont think the new ones have "real" VTEC anymore. They're using the VTEC mechanism for variable cylinder management. The 02-05 ones had "real" VTEC that kicked at ~4500 rpm.

Anyone know when the car tells you to get an oil change? 3000 miles? I have 4500 left according to the computer, and warranty is up next month.

some people don't always follow what the car says and change their oil to what they prefer which is every 3k, 5k, or 7k. I haven't done any in between service oil changes but will start soon to maintain the life of my car. Once your service ticker hit's zero, its time for a service and if you keep going it'll start going negative. haha
