Did y’all say Oyster...

After addressing the low mileage maintenance on the newly acquired AW over Oyster, the mods started rolling in.

Over the past couple of days, recently I’ve installed euro taillights, P3 vent gauge, BMWP gloss black grilles, BMWP shifter/boot and ebrake and BMWP CF trim.

Big thanks to pocky for the euro taillights and P3 vent gauge and the BMWP CF trim I removed from the AW over Saddle since I recently swapped to aluminum trim (thanks NOKO for helping locating it). The center console I wrapped in matte black late last night so haven’t taken pics of it yet.

What’s next for the car are BMW Style 513M with 245/275 Michelins PS4S (on order, gambling on this fitment after talking to E91WAG3N) and BMWP exhaust (if I can find one lol).

Now onto the pics...

Are you going to be selling your set of 193s? If so, let me know!

Oyster is tough to keep clean for what it’s worth. Just like a black exterior it looks great when clean but needs a lot of upkeep.
Haha, I have a bad feeling that my next BMW will end up being black as well. Just hopefully it'll atleast have a different color interior that time.

Yeah I bet it will require some extra upkeep compared to a black interior, but I still think it would be nice!

I won’t be selling the 193Ms but will be posting the 194Ms that I recently refinished in Ferric Gray (with using paint they turn a little bronze under direct sunlight) and brand new Michelin AS4. Was building the 194M as road wheels but thought the 193M would be better wheels to give more clearance for the BMWP BBK that I’m going to install on the Saddle.

Send me a DM if you are interested in the 194M 4 Doors ...

light interiors are a disaster to keep clean.

I wish I had charcoal.

Hi Guys,

I'm new here, on my third E91 now and absolutely love them.

This is Lowered on BC Racing Coilovers and some other bits and bobs done that you can't see. I'll update when I've got more stuff done to it.

It is super rare in North America. Our cars are almost always fully loaded.

(I do have a non-sunroof 2006 e91 xDrive with sport package (manual vinyl sport seats and steering wheel) with no sunroof)

Ah I see, so poverty spec is desirable to you over there?

In the U.K it’s very much a mixed bag, I’d prefer fully loaded however as long as it has idrive and heated seats im a happy guy. Can always retro fit afterwards

Everyone has their opinion on their preferred spec but sunroof was standard on all E91s in the US. It was optional (but common) in Canada. I'd prefer to not have one given the issues that it can present when it breaks plus it adds a lot of weight to the worst place in the car.

I personally prefer a mix between poverty and loaded specs. Ideally give me three pedals, xenons, manual sport seats, and leather!

Haven't posted in quite sometime, but almost finished with my build.

Recently installed 3 stage intake manifold with new disas, transmission fluid change, cdv delete, bled clutch.

Car drives amazing!!! Pulls extra hard (it was a 325 to begin with) now.

BONUS: Convinced my wife to let me install the 3 stage intake manifold on her e91 too

SHE LOVES IT!!!

Took our first trip in the new E91. The boys loved the DVD player (the screen is nothing compared to an iPad, but the ((SOUND)) can't be beat!), and I loved everything else.

I had to wash and wax it immediately once home. I was super fortunate to find this one - it was a California car most of its life, then garage kept here in GA. The paint is smooth as glass.

Sitting on stock sport springs over Bilstein B8s now - very smooth ride. Matte black kidneys, aFe stage 2 intake picked up from FB and installed. Sounds nice! 3 stage manifold purchased from forum, awaiting install. I'm thinking AA tune to go with the intake manifold.

I need to polish the headlights and foglights, install paint matched front bumper reflector deletes, then think about next mods. Anyone add back-up camera retrofit from BimmerTech? I think that would be a nice feature - particularly given the limited rear visibility ... with kid car seats.
