Last year my buddy got a full burton setup. I fucking great one that i paid over $1k for, and he paid under $400. Board, boots, and bindings

Winter 2006 i bought 2 full setups, 2 boards, 2 pairs of boots, and 2 bindings. . .
I spent like $2,500 for all that and my gear like jacket, pants, and goggles.

yah dude, burtons are expensive. i saw a few that were discounted big time from like 600 to like 250 or so. good thing i waited. sucks for u pal. go return it

i went once with them, i rented, the binding broke. so if i rent 3 times = 90-100 bucks. i plan on going at least 6 times this season so i can see if im gonna like it or not. i can see how it can be fun, im sure it's fun, but i think going less than 4 times is not giving it enough chance to be fun for me. so i figured 4 rentals * $30 = 120, so i might as well just buy one. i can always sell it if i dont like the thing... or let someone borrow it.

i also got bindings for so cheap, they're Sims Link. i know they're not the best, but at least they're metal. they're last year's model, i got them for like 50...
