Hey new member here and this E91 was the reason I ended joining this forum. Long story below lol..

The car is local to me, I actually came across it as it sat in the local bowling alley parking lot. Ended up reaching out to the owner and scheduled a test drive.

Owner was nice and responsive during our exchange. Drove it in sport mode and the car was pretty solid. Didn’t feel like a 94K mile car. At the time the steering wheel was vibrating due to brakes and rotors needing to be replaced but it seems like that was done with this shop. Doesn't come equip with run flats but I'm sure you're aware of that already.

I really dropped the ball on this wagon, especially for what the owner was asking before it was acquired by this shop. Last I recall was me reaching out to get the VIN to run a carfax in which he texted back that it had been sold.

My hesitation screwed me over on this one. Although I had the cash to buy, my wife and I are house hunting and didn’t want to end up buying this to then have a good deal on a house come up as well. I DD a '13 Accord Sport 6MT and as bad as I wanted this, I wasn't sure if the current market would get me to a break even point on my daily.

It’s all water under the bridge now. Hope you enjoy the wagon. I know I did a double take when I saw the for sale sign on it lol

Sorry for the big images in advance and yes, I wrote 328i, meant 328xi

Wow great story! At $7500 I would have been beyond thrilled. I still got it for a pretty good price either way but nothing close to $7500.

The Tazman car is a 2012 xdrive 6 speed manual car with 135k miles. Saddle brown interior. Non sport car with idrive. I did a full 15 hour paint correction with ceramic coating 2 weeks ago. Nice Continental tires all around. I love the car and I’m worried if I sell it I may regret it but I can’t keep two E91s.

I would be in the 12,5k range for the car.

Feel free to unload that Bluewater car to me.... Then you won't have to worry about letting go of the Tasman car...

I'd love to know, what did you pay for the Bluewater car? Even at full asking it was a great price! Based on the Carfax, it has a full history of dealer maintenance from where it was purchased new.

Yea, like you guys I frequent BaT and eBay looking for these wagons and I know fully well what the market is for these but me being financially cautious definitely let a good deal slip away

I paid $11,750 but they tacked on a $399 'dealer fee'

Probably the worst time to be financially cautious but lesson learned. I just hope the opportunity presents itself again.

Not an E91 but an E61. Still very affordable with some maintenance done and nice miles it seems.

Nice! I've been tempted by E61s before but I've never actually gotten out to drive one. One bummer is that the naturally aspirated E61s were never equipped with paddle shifters, which I think makes a huge difference in the enjoyment of an automatic BMW. And of course the retrofit is a bazillion dollars and miles of wiring, though it might be worth it.

Well, we love our e60, even with a lower-powered n52. It handles and rides really well. Super quiet. Great traveling machine.
