Can/will Cobb add oil pressure to the monitors at some point?

yep - that's the (newly extended) plan.

Taking the car in to pay for plugs and coil replacements is just dumb. Its so easy to do yourself and shops normally charge a lot for it, especially dealerships. /rant

I agree 110%

But at 24K miles it should be free under warranty.

Timing

Had a lot of timing pulling on all multiple cylinders with Stage 2+FMIC Aggressive (S2+A)... so I switched down to S2+S... is this amount of timing acceptable, or should I drop down to S2+D?

I don't have logs, but I decided to switch to Daily for now and it seems to be better. Still feels every bit as strong down low, and for me it feels like it pulls stronger up top - maybe not as hard, but it's smoother and I didn't run into the shift issue. God I hate our gas.

v400 Stage 1 Aggressive ST feels A LOT better than v301. I think the word 'smooth' portrays that it's 'boring' and linear...well this isn't the case. It's smooth in terms that there are no longer the three power stages as you go through the rev range (a bit, a bit more, all of it feeling), it's progressive as the power builds but feels very strong, particularly after 4000rpm where things get very fun and fast. There seems to be more low end torque right down by idle which is great for town driving and not labouring the engine so much, better MPG for me here too. I like this map a lot, much more refined and no where near as jolty feeling as v301 when you were progressing through the rev range and get a bump in power.

I had a run in with a Bentley Continental GT Cabriolet yesterday, he was very surprised . Looking at the spec though, I am not, it's 1000kg heavier so his extra power didn't really count for much...still, I expected more from it.

Good luck explaining to your service advisor that the car only acts up with the Cobb tune but not the factory tune. Unless, of course, your car acts up with the Cobb tune uninstalled as well which doesn't seem to be the problem most of the time.

when reflashing from v301 to v400, do I have to uninstall the tune first?

Nope, just install v400 as if you were changing maps.

Crypticc said his car misfires on map 0, so he should be good to go

Yes, I hear you.

Car always "acted" same. No codes. Always been slightly rough mid range after they worked on it (lost the turbine like feeling) stock and with Cobb on 0. With Cobb I can see the timing at about that point. I hear you about plugs. I would do myself but....getting itchy feet to get LSD and suspension and want all clear before mucking about. They say car had never been subject to recall on, coils, injector or hpfp before, or now

Do I need to remove the AP manager on one computer before I can install it on another computer? I just tried to install the AP on my new netbook and it says there are no drivers on the device

Hmm, idk what's going on then...

Edit: I just downloaded the drivers off of the site. Still not sure why it wouldn't download off of the AP. Ohh well.

There are several members who weighed in on what they think of V400 and Stage 2 plus. It's very smooth and feels really powerful. Not much more to say. The car seems happy.
