I assume we are talking about the same tired dyno chart(with its whole host of issues) you always bring up?

But hey, what does Smooth 330i know. He just had them both, back to back, with the same mods, on a car he tracks regularly and daily drives. He's probably pretty out of touch with it.

I guess this dyno doesn't mean anything in light of Smooth's butt dyno.

Regardign the Evolve dyno
I ran Petro Canada /Sunoco 94 , the tune is for 91, Shell 91 feels a lot better for the tune. Its way more aggresive. Other Dynos had an intake, I had paper filter with charcoal. Going to euro box opened up tourqe for me. Apples to oranges... Look at Desi4life10's 328xi n52 dyno of AA on Petro Canada 94. We shared the sdame dyno. Only difference is he had an Perfomance Intake. i didnt

Smooth 330i went from the AA tune to the Evolve tune, and felt gains across the board. Seems like nobody is better qualified to speak on the differences between them, as I don't know of anyone else who has run both.

My car felt faster too, the dyno proved otherwise.

Good to see you're deeply in tune with your car
Gas pedal tricks on effect how the car feels on tip in. WOT performance is unsusceptible to such tricks, so if the car feels faster at the top end where you're riding out the revs at WOT, it actually is faster. All that said, all 3 of my Evolve tunes do the opposite to the gas pedal mapping, as I can't stand a twitchy throttle. And I've disabled sport mode throttle mapping, so there's no chance of undoing it.

Since I figured out my issues, I'll go back to the dyno again to see what is what, this will be my 5th trip. I don't talk the talk, I walk it to. |
