I spoke to Gregor and they are planning 2 or 3 week of January. I was in there for my own car so I couldn't get all the questions answered, I will be emailing him the questions and he needs to dig into the issues too.

Gregor and Ted are looking at the pricing but for 08's, I would definitely band together since the ECUs have to be shipped. The shipping & brokerage charges are over $100 if you do it seperately so in addition to you guys asking for a discount, there is an opporunity to save on the shipping of the 2008 ECUs.

You mean the ECU flash is not going to be done right on the car at the dealer?? Elsewhere I read said it would only take an hour or so to do at the dealer.

2008 ECUs will need to be shipped out but if there are enough of them, you will save lots on shipping and brokerage charges.

Have fun, I am actually surprised they would do a test run on a flashed-car, sort of a license to beat the heck out of the car for a weekend. I am sure they will make at least a few sales on the trial though. Finally, T-Bone you can decide for yourself on the merit of the flash.

I have already made a decision on Dinan.....my opinion doesn't affect my desire to help Budds and fellow BMWs guys in Toronto if this is the path they choose.
