laser interceptor and laser park pro are the best ones i've seen tested out right now but they are not sold in the US

Laser interceptor is sold in the US, but currently there is a waiting list. I am on that list.

But yes, passive jammers do not work and active ones are illegal, unless they comply with FCC rules about maximum transmitted power w/o a license, and then they probably are not powerful/sophisticated enough to jam the various police radar gun frequencies.
