Let me know when you get your V2, so we can do some runs. That road is perfect because it's a one way and you won't need to worry about oncoming traffic. The only thing is that after we do the runs, we will need to go around to do the runs again.

All in all, it's a lot better than FBF.
hahah i love how the spot to meet, no matter where you are in the country, is the home depot parking lot. Unofrtunately the fuckers at home depot in south florida called the cops on us every monday, until it was finally canceled for good.

Sounds good. I was just asking since Shiv had said boost would increase as temperature increased. Thanks for clarifying that, and good job on the Helix I look forward to hearing more about it.

yeah boost does rise and its a natural part of the factory tune at 8-10psi...but when your dealing with a 14psi bost target and AIT starts to rise and boost goes to 15+++ then limp mode. we are doing everything in our piggybacks arsenal to enable very smooth running, excellent power and NO DTC or Limp modes I guess you could call the High AIT-boost taper Boost stabilization as thats basically what we are trying to accomplish.

Yep, makes sense to me. I was wondering if someone was going to do this eventually. Instead of adjusting setting on the PROcede, I always wondered if it was possible to just make 15psi MAX at all times automatically. It looks like yall have figured out how to do this. Good job, and congrats again....

the helix vs the procede v2 will be a very interesting race. I remember racing sflgator with my jb2 335i while he had v2.0, lightweight wheels, and I believe a KN air filter. Up to 125, with his passenger in his car, he pulled a car length. Without his passenger he would have probably pulled 2-4 CL. These results are almost identical with the amount that the helix 335i pulled on you. Helix vs v2.0 would be very, very interesting.

I agree, although I think we should start racing based on the amount of money put into the car instead of what specific mod. So for someone to race vs a V2 they would need to put 1400 dollars (Helix + Intercooler, JB2H + DPs) worth of mods into their car. Seems fair enough to me... (joking guys, dont flame)

its a fair comparison, but helix + intercooler would be more than 1400 I think.

Sniz, you know I was playing around, but just for kicks lets make it helix (795) and UR offroad DPs (650). That would come to 1445, and it would run on the same octane as PROcede. That would be a very very good race dont you think?

Last time I checked the Helix put down more power than the V2, but I have learned not to trust dynos from Vendors.

I thought most V2's should put down around 350whp and two days ago I have witnessed 3 335 with V2 (including mine) barely hitting 330whp. 20-whp difference is A LOT.

Also the torque and power band does not look too flat or smooth to me.

I might get the Helix when it comes out. Sounds like a bargain for $800.

end rant

the passenger in a car makes a lot of difference... i dont know what it is with our cars ... they don't seem to handle weight that good.... maybe because it's balanced out nicely with any added weight it throws off the balance... i'm not bashing any of tunes but i think the helix can give the v2 a run for it's money....

My guess is that the two tunes are even or the Helix will win, def due to all the new Dyno numbers coming out from people with the V2, which seem to be SOOoo low........

I'd take the Helix also for great power with Conisderably less problems........

i dont know about the helix winning over the V2....i think the v2 might still be a 0.5 to 1cl ahead of the helix...but helix has the price advantage... this might just turn out like the 335 vs G37 war... just my thoughts
