I know of at least 4 guys personally that moved away from Wedge stuff to PTF and some others that started tinkering with things themselves as they really didn't like what they got from him so your point is? Some random dude on the forum tryin'a prove somethin'? Give me a break please.
Are these 4 guys on the boards?

I'd be interested to hear why they moved on....

There's too much of the "I know "x" person and he told me this..."

I'd think that if they didn't like what they got...they'd post about it or at least share his or her personal experience good OR bad. Nobody likes wasting $$

Not everyone lives on the forums or cares about bad mouthing anyone that tried to help them like you may think. At the end of the day everyone tries to do their best and I have respect for that. You don't seem to respect that and that's fine too, your World not mine. No one wants to waste money and that's why my money was more than well spent in this case especially. And for the record I wasn't the one that mentioned X or Y people first but given it was mentioned I thought I'd share my details as well. I agree its pointless as well and proves nothing.

Some people might not like to post negative reviews even if they weren't really happy with what they have purchased.

LOL where do I say I don't respect people's effort? Please stop trying to put words in my mouth, and connect dots that aren't there....

I have 0 control what other people post in this thread, however YOU took it upon yourself to continue the "mud slinging" and stated that YOU knew 4 people that left wedge to go the PTF...not me sir.

I get it you like working with dzenno and are a supporter of PTF, that's great, you are more than entitled to your own opinion, you are a loyal PTF customer and I am sure D and PTF are grateful.

So me and you are arguing and it wasn't either of us that started mud slinging. BUT here is what started it:

You're wrong. The mud slinging started when Alex described that Wedge/BQ are only enthusiasts (amateurs in his mind) and the point of that statement was to influence people reading this thread that they should go with PTF.
My response was more than valid in this context since there was no need to bash Wedge/BQ as they are a very good alternative to PTF. Then you start trolling saying you know 4 people personally that left Wedge/BQ's flash tuning (nothing to do with JB4, that's not BQ business) but I haven't read anything related to it.

Whatever dude just walk away. Your post made it clear what your intentions were. Alex as far as I can see just stated facts about the differences. What's wrong with being an enthusiast now all of a sudden? Aren't we all? Is that a lesser breed of a human all of a sudden? Its you that has a reading comprehension and felt a sudden need to defend someone by bashing someone else. Relax and realize there's life beyond this forum. Why so negative bruh?

+1 for Dzenno. Really took the time to dial in my tune just right. He didn't tune to extract every last ounce of power at the expense of driveability. Instead, he found the optimum mix of power, smoothness, and overall reliability. Can't speak to Wedge's tunes as I never had one.

Listen, a professional tuner doesn't make false claims when issues arise. I'll give you a perfect example. My personal close friend ran a Wedge flash before Ken partnered up with BQ. His car was a FBO/Meth JB4 with a JB4 backend flash. He never had problems with the JB4 backend flash. He wanted to try Wedges map and it was terrible. Timing drops on all cylinders and the car was limping constantly with a transmission symbol in the dash. He sent logs to Wedge, and he tried 3-5 revisions with no success. Always the same problem when cruising. Yes this was a cruising issue, not even WOT where the limp modes happened. What was Ken's response "It's a hardware issue, I can't help you."

This friend then loaded up the BMS backend that he originally had and never had an issue. This is a fact. Professional or enthusiast?

While I realize some quantifiable numbers are nice and all I could care less about 1/4 mile times and slips. I didn't buy a 335 to drag race (I have much faster and more suitable cars for that if I wish) and I appreciate a reliable smooth tune that I can daily drive without worries about grenading parts to shave a tenth off. After all, a tune that makes good drag times at nothing but WOT is typically not the best for daily drivability. I have done a lot of tuning and dealt with many tuners in the past and PTF has been fantastic. They respond quick, do good work and take care developing a tune that meets your needs and goals. I have not dealt with some of the other BMW specific tuners on the forum but I have not been impressed with how they portray themselves here.

Well, that reaffirms my decision to go with Wedge/BQ. This type of unfounded, unprovoked mudslinging is very unprofessional to say the least. :

I daily drive my 335, 115k mile on a 2007 auto here. It really does boil down to what you are trying to accomplish, my goals which I feel I have met. A sleeper looking grocery getter that will leave a lot of so called sports cars owners saying to themselves WTF just happened i just got raped by a 335.

And yes I do like to go to the track too its far better than racing on the roads. I think most people who do engine mods are doing it for a reason which is more power to be able to impose themselves over another if the situation arises or why mod?
