an early cadillac cts-v would fit your bill perfectly they are fast sound good and there are ALOT of mods for them out there and they look pretty good in grey with black rims

A 5.0 Mustang would do the trick. I'd roll in a new Mustang any day over the crap chassis the Camaro has.

G8 GTP
CTS-V
90s Impala SS (basically a Caprice)
E63 AMG from Mercedes
GT-R
Evo
STi

And so on. You want 10s, you need traction, you want traction, you need as much rubber on the ground as you can (so AWD if possible), and you need a suspension tuned for that kind of launch. Also, a 10 second car is going to break shit all the time, so get used to it.

Bottom line, a ten second car isn't a daily driver unless you've got the bank to maintain it constantly. Fast dailies run 12s, sometimes 11s. You're sure as hell not putting down 10s on street rubber, so why bother?

Unfortunately the Camaro isn't made for the strip either, unless it's a COPO.

The Camaro tips the scales at nearly 4000lbs and it's suspension is geared towards road course and doesn't have a live rear axle like the Mustang.

The Mustang has the right suspension /chassis to make it into the 10's easier.

Unless you got bank, then you can make anything run 10's.

The 335i can run 10's but things will break along the way. Get a Single turbo (and necessary bolt ons), Upgraded clutch, LSD, upgraded axles, rear diff lock down, proper suspension and slicks. That would be enough if you can drive

I'm not going to repeat what others have said, but don't you think if there was a cheap fast car that can run 10s and reliable we would all own one by now????

You're asking for a unicorn my friend. There are tons of options, but you're going to have to sacrifice something, whether it be money, time, or looks.

If you want a fast cheap car, a built civic will do the job just fine....

Single turbos are fast for our platform. Lots of guys putting out 600-700hp. But this is $$.
I never said money was the issue I'm saying best bang for the buck of course within 20-30k range

I'm looking for 10 second type speed and I also want that rumble from a v8. For $20k what's the best choice for brute power also considered srt8 challenger. Any thoughts? Or could I get that type of speed with stage 3s or a giant single. What's my options?
You're not going to mind a 10 second M3 either you want 10 seconds go with a vette, mustang or Camaro and do light mods.

That's what you need to do. Keep the 335, buy a cheap c5 vette and for 25 grand car and mods included you'd have a beast. M3 needs a supercharger and mods to beat a moded 335 and then it's up to the driver.
