im not even a PROcede owner and i got to say your way too much of a jb2 lover. go over at n54tech for that BS.

from a dig using run flats in cold weather is useless. dont even mention that again.

if he went into limp mode that does mean something is not working right to begin with.
second of all, does he even have a map for a tune for his downpipes and all.

So much for e90post being a tuner friendly community. What ever happened to finding the best tune? Ever wonder why Terry was removed? Too much competition for Shiv? But it didnt matter anyway because Shiv left e90post and moved on to the new evos and subes. He loves to charge peoples cc's with out telling them whats going on.

Not to single you out, but the question is not what a car's dyno results are. It is, how much more over the stock dyno, is it currently putting down.

Details are everything! You cannot compare dynos, but if someone sees a +50hp/+70lb-ft gain with their respected tunes and mods, thats how it should be presented and discussed. (margain of gain = apples to apples.)

This is sort of a pet peeve with me and if I stick around on these forums you will most assuradly hear me try to establish this logic, rather than using whp claims.

Your going to see me quote this post often, so get use to it.

Doesn't that help determine which tune is "better"

this place isn't about finding the best of anything. It's about keeping the people who pay money as sponsors happy regardless of what they do or how they treat people. This place quit being about the members a long time ago.

Never complained about my runflats. They work fine and so does his blizzaks. Snow tires have to be a soft compound, like a drag radial in a way so it can get through snow. They wear down faster than regular tires for that reason also. You need to read my friend. Did you hear him spin during any of the videos?? I didnt and he will chime in a few and confirm also.

This thread isnt about a better tune. there about a million threads on that.
its about a race that is most likely on a good day not the right outcome. looks like it was a bad day.

dont u have a XI? that is a big advantage in cold weather and what looked to be a slick road.
runflats with 320RWHP+ is impossible to get going all out in those conditions with summer tires

E90post "Home of the keyboard warriors"..............Lets go all you chicagoland i's. Chitown335i is one of my good friends and im not bashing his car or tune in any way. I want his car to run better. We will get a meet going and it will be ineteresting to see if any of them show up. We will literally as I said before have the track to ourself. My friend who owns Sound performance race shop rents the track every year for timed runs.

just because you don't like it and don't think it was the right outcome doesn't mean it wasn't.

due to his car's placement on the earth, gravity was affecting him more and slowing him down....

Damn those I's must launch harder than an XI!! LOL Must only work when its 80F. In order to play catch up you need more HP. If I get a better jump from the X drive you need mroe HP/torque to catch up.Equal or lesser HP/TQ will not do the job. "Common sense"?

possible but gravity has a greater effect on snow tires so that was probably it along with his placement. If you would have switched lanes he would have won.
