best sounding car "ever"? haha....NO.
you will have to leave the modern era to find that....modern cars don't even remotely sound as good as older sports cars. |

I'm a V10 fan all day when it comes to sound! BMW Formula 1 and the E60 M5 Derivative from that sound soo soo goose bump raisingly good!
3m42s Oh and the one in the Mclaren F1 GTR .. Best start up sound ever! 4m9s 2 Cilinders extra does sound pretty sweet as well though! 1m5s I'm gonna stop now my neck is cramping up from all the goosebumps and my eyes tearing from the awesomeness! Edit: not sure what the problem is with the timestamps but the youtube tags don't show the embedded videos and the url tags dont start at the timestamp so I've added them below the vids! I grew up in the muscle car era, with low RPM, big H, low bass exhaust notes.Ffeeling the thump of the exhaust through the steel of the car is just not the same as these high reving, high pitch tin sound supercars. That rattling sound when you let of the gas is like someone running thier nails across the chalk board. I know you young guys do not understand the analogy since you all grew up with white board in school and never had a teacher drags their nails across the chalk board to get you attention in class.

Not quite, big guy. I like cars that are less assuming and that kick ass. Not something that has to be loud and show off. The fact is a a 911 TT will do everything well and you won't look like an attention whore driving it...
You don't know me, so don't fkn judge me. |

I must be old or something. I think the best sounding car I have heard is a Shelby Cobra with an old 427 SOHC through side pipes.
