They are introducing something new at the same price with non extra info, people have to compare with something

Hmm 2600 for a Turbo that has multiple results and data

or 2600 on a turbo that just came out with no results and no data

Dont know about you, but I am not shitting out 2600 to just toss around to 'help someone out'

Give me or someone an incentive

I am also not paying 2.6k. Hexon also makes very good products. Just no track record for this one.

The message was for people who were complaining about it and since you paid less than 2600, that would be the incentive

I wouldnt pay full price at all on something with no track record.

Well then sit tight because it looks like myself and one other have already paid for the Hexon. So results will come.

FYI I didn't order the newer one they're working on. I ordered the rr5400

You won't be disappointed that's for sure. Love Hexon's work, I just hope your tuning will suffice in the meanwhile until we get more developments.

This is the one I got too. Just finished going over my details with Wayne. What are you gonna do for the inlet? not gonna upgrade?

Wayne did tell me that the Pure turbine is close to 1.0 while the hexon is 8.0. So the Hexon will spool faster by a few hundred ram but less peak power which I am fine with because they are expecting me to get around 500awhp @ 23-25 psi. This is more than enough for me don't want my front axle to snap.

I'm having inlets made. 500 whp is a stretch IMO. What octane and other mods do you have?

On another note - I've been going back and forth with Dzenno at Protune Freaks which said no matter what turbo I can only expect 30-40whp with 91 octane. That's ridiculously low. I'm hoping he's way off the mark on that. I've a FBO

Right now I am mustang dyno'd for a 93 and 100 octane map. The 100 octane is only 5 gallons of race gas and the rest 93.

Just normal FBO.
Wagner Catted Dp
Remus Axle Back
Cobb Ap V3
7 inch FMIC

I got 372 whp 492wtq on the 100 map and 347 whp and 451 wtq on the 93 only map.

Since then I have gotten a stage 2 lpfp, flashed ppk onto the car and just picked up a HPF exhaust so 3.5 inch straight pipe as well. Planning to get a meth setup for the stage 2 hexon but only for high end boost don't really want it on all the time.

No sure sweat you mean by 1.0 and 8.0. You think this turbo will have less lag but also less top end power? That's exactly what I'd go for

That is how Wayne worded it. That is exactly what it means. It won't have a high of a peak as the pure stage 2 which is 530-540 with meth and etc. It will spool faster cause it is smaller and provide a decent power gain of hopefully 500.

Going to the drag with it will give us the best idea though cause the ps2 peeps only hitting low 11s cause it doesnt spool as fast as stockers who also hit 11s.

Maybe he was saying the Pure was 1.0 and the Hexon was .8? That would make more sense. I am Xi also and this is an intriguing option.

I believe it some how refers to the sizing cause the Hexon is smaller. Which make sense for it to spool faster due to it being smaller.
