The truth is that we wont know for a while, this because we all have been revving it so much because we love the sound and throttle response. In a couple months we will know more about mpg but it will help as most intakes do in regular driving in my opinion.

So after all of these good reviews I'm convinced too. Where is a good place to buy it?

Im definitely bogging down the throttle to hear it as well. It's pretty much guaranteed that you'll see an MPG increase. My IS300 had a 3mpg increase after the install of an intake!

i sold my last unit over the winter because i couldn't use the power. i'm assuming that the power gains with an intake should be more apparent

Seems like there is more(better?) sound, more power, increase in mpg(?), and at a very reasonable price. Is there any downside to this type of filter? Seems like heat soak and periodic maintenance are the main concerns? Thanks.

definitely. terry should be coming out with an upgrade in the form of a heat shield. making one yourself wouldn't be bad either. you could have something cut and then clamped with the brackets.

I just installed my BMS intake 2 days ago and my UR catless DP's yesterday, and the sound of the car is now sooo amazing. The sound now matches the power. I don't know why but the exhaust seems louder to me too

As far as MPG in the past 2 days my overall average has gone down .4 MPG, but like everyone else stated, that is because I have been mashing the gas to listen to my car's new, meaner sound.

I would def recommened this product to ANYONE.

Also the intake looks A LOT smaller in person than in pictures. But it does it's job.

I first opened it, I was like, there is no way this is it. Haha

**UPDATE**

just installed my SSTT! no battery disconnect for my install. i just decided to install and go. i drove hard for two 30-minute runs through all of the gears and ran heavily throughout the higher rpms.

power feels very, very good. during my highway runs i noticed that the increased air and spool made the car feel like it was "taking off." the best way i can explain it is by comparing a single turbo car lagging then hitting full boost. obviously our turbos aren't lagging but instead the car keeps pulling all the way until redline. this was only the first 20 or so miles of adaptation. i can't wait to see what it feels like once it's fully adapted in a couple days.

the sound is much more prominent after the addition of the TT. im sure this has to do with the increased boost. when shifting from gear to gear under high load you can hear the turbos spool and the diverter valves recirculate MUCH better.

if you don't have this filter + a tune, get them.

Has anyone done a dyno of this with the corresponding boost for the run?

I'm going to do a dyno as well as soon as the car fully adapts and I run out of gas. I am going to fill up with the highest octane I can find then put the x to 100% and flip the R switch
