Scheer: You're right. If tis getting replaced, give it a go anyway.

You should try to be a little more specific with your advice to others though. Telling a member "as long as there is clear left it should buff out", is a lot different than "if it burns through trying to fix it, who cares, you're getting it replaced anyway", you get me? Wrong person might read that tip and not think it through. Just like the OP didn't think it through when he took a scotch brite pad to his car.

BTW, I polished my matte trim between the windows and the matte kidney grills based on you. I didn't think it could get as glossy as it could. Thanks! I always hit them with some type of AIO, but an actual swirlremover made them look like they were cleared.

I tried that, but it streaked a bit since its non-porous plastic. I cleaned it off and just used Zaino CS.

Ya 303 didnt work for mine, so I buffed in some CG silk shine and it stuck. When I washed my car it came off, so this time around I used CG Tire/trim restorer gel. I love that stuff, I have used it on all trim and never had a problem, one little 16oz bottle is lasting me 35+ cars, and it just works.

I would give it a try if you are in the market for something like it!
